EVS Vulture Cam Year two
This is the second successful year of our EVS Vulture Cam. The two Bearded Vultures laid two eggs of which one was removed and hatched in a bird sanctuary.
This is an entire year in the life of the nest. The idea is to give an overview of what happens to the nest for the entire year while the birds are out and there. So be patient for the birds to arrive.

This is part of a project run by KZN wildlife and EVS Systems to monitor the nest of a Bearded Vulture pair. The bearded Vulture is an endangered species and this project aims to help increase the number of vultures.

When it is quiet here in the Highveld in between all the fires, the pilots sometimes do a drop just to keep in practice. It is pretty awesome to see 2000L of water dump in a matter of seconds.
