April 26, 2024 Nebraska Iowa Tornado Outbreak (Full Video)
Saw 7 Tornadoes from 4 different Supercells. This includes Tornadoes from the Lincoln/Waverly, Nebraska Supercell, the Elkhorn/Bennington/Blair, Nebraska Supercell, the Eppley Airfield/Crescent, Iowa Supercell, and the Alton, Iowa Supercell. Most of these Tornadoes were at close range and included three EF3 Tornadoes and one EF2 Tornado along with the other EF1 Tornadoes.

Just inside the Minnesota border, a tornado crossed our path throwing debris at us and dropping a tree across the road just behind us. The tornado spun in the field next to us until it disappeared in the rain. Unfortunately, the funnel never condensed out.

Brian Stertz and I viewed the birth of a tornado near Dustin, Oklahoma in Hughes County on May 20, 2001. We followed this tornado on Highway 9 through the hills and trees as it matured and regenerated several times until it crossed over the Indian Nation Turnpike. From there we ran out of road options and daylight.

This Storm Chase began near Dodge City, Kansas and ended near Woodward, Oklahoma. It featured several monster supercells, gustnadoes, 70mph straight-line wind, large hail, wind damage, and some tense moments as it turned into a fast moving derecho.

Um, I have been told that going under an overpass and parking there derring a tornado isn't a good thing. Depending upon how strong the tornado is it can pull you in and eather kill you or give you some bad injuries. So be careful out there.

Absolutely amazing video. Beyond breathtaking. I can only imagine the adrenaline you had while filming these tornados. Just a quick PSA, please please do not park underneath an overpass during a storm, especially on a busy interstate. The hazard in doing that could be detrimental.
4:37 seeing those geese(?) struggling to fly and just getting that shot with the tornado behind them was a once in a lifetime opportunity. Amazing footage through and through!

The probable Tornado at the beginning of the video was captured at the intersection of Hirstein Road and Lakeland Road.
Great footage. Did the NWS ever confirm if this touched down? You can’t tell with the trees in the way, but it looks very close
I contacted the Lincoln, Illinois National Weather Service and shared our video with them. They stated they've received no reports of any damage from the funnel cloud to the north of Morton, Illinois and since the video was inconclusive for ground contact, there was no survey scheduled.

If I remember correctly, this tornado (F4) dissipated north of Liberal, MO? Another tornado (F3) developed east of Liberal, MO. This F3 tornado hit Stockton, MO, and traveled to Leadmine, MO, in Dallas County, MO. The tornado (F3) near Joplin, MO, dissipated north of Joplin. Another tornado (F0) touched down north of Joplin but only traveled a few miles.

This was my very first tornado that I ever saw. I'll never forget that night!
I’ll never forget that day. It was so hot and nobody expected a storm would blow up like that. No power for about a week and we were all bbq grilling all our food in the refrigerator before it went bad

I was in this! When you cross the river and zoom in on the broken trees- that’s where I was. It was crazy. But thank goodness it wasn’t any worse! I really think that something about the river stopped it from forming all the way. Luckily!

We lived in Republic MO at that time. It was pretty scary.
Used to live in wamego..there was an early morning storm in 1981 (I think) that did alot of damage,more likely a derecho.
This was on highway 70 but the storm had not caused damage in this footage

Yeah I don’t remember this twister at all, born & raised in Springfield up until ‘18. Although I do remember the 06’ tornados scariest moments I’ll remember forever, but it is weird ten years later tornadoes hit again 🤔
