I can't express how happy I am right now!!! Oh my gosh I can't stop listening. The "dadada" vocals in the background at 3:00 and the gentle synth that glides between notes bring back so many memories. Those are things I would hear in your old songs, but the song is so fresh and new sounding. I just absolutely love it! I first found out about you when I was 15 (4 years ago) and I literally listened to your album on repeat. When I was 16 I met a girl and fell head over heels for her. I know I was young, but that didn't make it any less meaningful than if I loved someone now. She was the only girl I have ever had feelings for. I had to let her go a little under a year ago. I listened to those songs like Galaxies Apart or Dreamy Eyes, and she came to mind. Dreamy Eyes was a song that perfectly wrapped up some of my feelings and put it to music. Now when I listen to your music, it doesn't bring back pain. Instead it reminds me of that wonderful feeling of falling in love. That feeling I had when her beautiful blue eyes would lock onto mine, and a gentle smile. I will never forget that, and Lord wiling I will one day feel that way again. I'm not a mushy person but this song has me in my feels, haha! Please keep making more music, this song is my new favorite. I have a million questions I wish I could ask as I have written several songs and am into music production as of late. But if I could just ask one question it would be, are you Matthew Parker? At the very least those vocals have to be him. I would recognize his voice anywhere! Again great work and thanks for being such a huge part of my shy, confused, and lovesick 16 year old self. 💜

When I heard rumor of a new Twilight Meadow song in 2021, I gotta say, I was stoked. Actually hearing the song?? Even more stoked. Ohh man, this was just...ohhhh it captures so much nostalgia for me!! All the late nights I spent sitting on my bed, listening to the first album when I couldn’t sleep-or even when I was sitting up working late. I’m so happy right now 😭♥️

AHH what a pleasant surprise!! I didn't know you'd ever come back to the twilight meadow. I'm so so glad for this! I've been treasuring the album ever since I first found it-- it's the only music to satisfy the dreamy/ambient(/ethereal?) niche for me since original Owl City. It has been an absolute delight to listen to Twilight Meadow since discovery and I'm really hyped there's at least one new song to throw on the pile and enjoy. :D Cheers, mate- I love the song and I hope that new TM music isn't just a one-off thing.
