So sad to hear about Steve Wright’s passing. In 1987 my dad was stationed in the UK with the US Navy, and I was home for the spring with little to do except read and listen to the radio. I loved hearing Simon Bates in the late morning (Our Tune was a favorite) and Steve Wright in the afternoon, with his true stories, Mr. Angry, and Malcolm from the Arts Council. He never failed to brighten up the (often rainy) afternoon with his cheery demeanor. Rest in peace.

Hi jeremy i was very sad to hear abput steve wrights untimely death. Just like alan freeman a top class radio presenter may they both rest in peace. My condolences to the staff at radio 2 who have lost a dear friend and colleague. Take care sir.

A beautiful tribute to Steve wright

Jeremy gave a lovely tribute to the fantastic Steve Wright.
