Hi 👋 the outer fabrics, white and black, are cork fabrics. The lining fabrics are all quilting cottons and the interfacing/stabilisers are medium weight non-woven fusible for the quilting cottons and Decovil Light for the outer. Hope that helps 😁

Yes! 😁 In the pattern there are instructions for sewing the strap tabs in next to the zip which you don't need a rivet press for. And for the handles, where I've used rivets, you can sew the ends of the handles, next to the rectangle ring and at the end, or sew a box depending on the look you're going for. I would probably use a thinner fabric than cork if you're doing the two toned straps or just do one layer to make it easier to sew. Hope that helps 🤗

Hi 🙋‍♀️ yes you could use felt if you wanted to but depending on the structure of the felt you may find it doesn't affect the cork fabric that much. It's a bit like using fusible fleece, depending on the thickness of your cork fabric, you may find it doesn't really change it unless your cork is super thin. Yes you can glue the felt to the back, use a textile glue or a spray glue, either should work well. Hope that helps 😁

Yes absolutely 😊 Some double sided tapes have a stronger stickier glue which can gum up needles and make life a little more difficult, not a problem for the industrial machines but maybe for the smaller domestics. Alcohol wipes are great for wiping down needles though 😁

Hi Roseanne 🙋‍♀️ I usually use a medium temp. I iron the back of the cork first to warm it up, my cork has a cotton/polyester backing on it. then I apply the foam and using a presser cloth to protect the cork, I iron from the front of the cork until it adheres. Alternatively, a spray glue or double sided tape works just as well to hold it in place, since it's being quilted you only need the glue to hold temporarily. Hope that helps 🥰

Oh I forgot to say, it's a Sewline glue which you can buy refills for 😊

Hi! thank you so much 😃🥰 I do not have an industrial machine, I sew on a Pfaff 720 Quilt Expression. Depending on your machine, it should absolutely work with a domestic machine, just make sure you trim down any bulky corners and use a hump jumper, you should be absolutely fine 😃 If you're using cork, don't forget to pop over to my sewing with cork group and share your finished bag, I'd love to see it 🤩

The written instructions are downloadable fromthe website but there are no pattern pieces. The pattern piece sizes are all in the video 😁

Yes absolutely! 😁 You can use a variety of fabrics and textures, it makes your final Chameleon even more unique 🤩 Just be aware of the bulky seams where it joins at the top corners and trim them down well before you turn through and topstitch. If you have a heavy duty machine you should be ok though. Happy sewing!

It would depend on your fabric choice. I used cork fabric for the outer fabric in the video which is approximately 1mm thick and I didn't use any interfacing on the outer fabric, only on the lining
