Of all the possible ideas my brain could think of for a potential Rio 3, this wouldn't have been it. 😂 Interesting concept though! Nigel is like a main character at this point, but at least it would make sense here with his former acting career.

Man, it has been 3 years since Rio 3 was Announced. But i don't know why they take so long to release Rio 3, even after Blue sky studios got shut down. This is like sml movie: five night at Freddy's sister Location situation about releasing some months.

That doesn't help at all, what I want is for Blue Sky studios to come back

That animation at the beginning might not be finished and the final film might look better, but still The Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wild doesn't give me a lot of hope for this.

Ok so here’s what I don’t understand. Didn’t Rio 2 end with the family staying in the Amazon? The only 2 ways I can think of how they get back to city life is Tulio and Linda finding them and bringing them back to Rio, or the family (or just blu) is kidnapped. Still wouldn’t make much sense but I don’t see how else the plot would end up there. Plus it also makes you wonder how Nigel got back too. I saw some say he’s this franchise’s William Afton and it’s kinda true 😂

I don't know if the Rio 3 film is currently in development but it is a possibility Disney will work on Rio 3. Overall, Rio 3 has always been a thing ever since, it was just hidden from us till this year. 3. Will this be a part of the plot for the Rio 3 film? Due to Blue Sky Studios shutting down back in 2021, These storyboards concepts are no longer included for Rio 3's development, meaning it's most likely we wont get to see Nigel impersonating Blu. 4. Who owns these storyboards? Lubomir Arsov, he has a website containing his storyboards and other work there, check in the description ;). 5. Does this in any way relate to the Rio Spin off? No, These storyboards were meant for Blue Sky Studios' Rio 3 film, the Rio Nico and Pedro Spinoff wasn't discussed until 2022 when Ice Age Buck Wild spin off was released.
