I was #1 in the world at creating cars for this game. No joke. I was part of a small development team spread across the globe. We created our own demo version of this game with update graphics, tracks and cars. I was responsible for everything concerning the car sounds and handling. I was able to squeeze out some incredible stuff from this old game engine - things it was never meant to be able to do, suchbas seperate on- and off-throttle sounds for example. Our founder (Toon Kersten) even presented our demo to Spyker Cars in the Netherlands. Ibwas rhe co-founder b.t.w. (Matthias Nyberg). I spent some 5 - 10 000 hours developing and testing cars for this game.

You are wrong when you say GTPSP isnt special, you need to be careful with your words as a reviewer because I can pick GTPSP any given Sunday as a goto racing game everywhere because of its 1 portability 2 Simplicity, 3 Racing is what GTPSP is all about, getting a car, and running it on any track at any given moment...tell is me, is there is a story in GT7 right now...none! You get a car, take it to the tracks and drive it around, you get credits and buy another...you dont need a PhD to race and you dont need 30 min to tune your car, its a racing game and its all about that, period! If you dont like GT PSP go play MarioKart! dude!

I am a casual enjoyer as well, but the show has only the props from fallout, the story is dumb and nonsensiscal, they cannot keep consistency even with their own established world lore, only progress is through macguffins and plenty of random coincidences and cringe questionable jokes to mask the empty void of the plot. This ignoring they retconned everything fallout from fallout 1 to FO4 at least. I can understand the shower of praise from Amazon farms, but I cannot understand the lack of critical analysis from content creators.

Ridge Racer Vita is two things at once: A great looking launch title for the PS Vita that leverages the online functionality of the system coupled with the now standard Ridge Racer PSP-style physics the franchise was lauded for in 2004-2006. A shallow game with limited progression, little single player to speak of, 30 FPS for a series that always prided itself on 60 FPS since like Ridge Racer V at least, and doesn't progress the series forward in any significant way. Ridge Racer Vita is basically Ridge Racer V two without a single player mode, trading it in for a weird ass multiplayer faction-focused mode that ultimately meant jack shit. The technology imo is impressive but Cellius (NOT NAMCO, they only published this but it was developed by Cellius which was a joint Sony and Namco studio formed back in the day) definitely didn't have the time needed to actually make this game work well which is weird because they were probably one of the first developers to get dev kits. Let's just say, Uncharted Golden Abyss didn't get development kits until early 2011 but Bend Studio had already done a ton of the pre-production work on PS3 systems. There's a good chance Cellius ran into some issues getting Ridge Racer working on Vita. I think technologically and gameplay wise, they 100% nailed it and probably ripped the engine straight from RR7. But they failed to make a real game around it. You have to be a Ridge Racer fan to get much enjoyment out of it unfortunately. If you don't like the handling model, there's nothing here.

My brother and I played the absolute crap out of this game... Mostly because of the damage model. I understand the hornball comment completely...lol
