Before an exam, and during an exam I would ruffle my hair, and tug my ear when I'm thinking. If I am super focused, I would poke my tounge out.

The 10th doctor playing with his hair is so me 😂 Same with bouncing And the chair thing And the repetitive words. And touching things, like i'd poke the weird alien things too.

As a neurodivergent myself I find it really interesting to know that my favorite doctor (tied with 12th as I started watching in the 12ths era and watched a few of his episodes before restarting back to 9th) is neurodivergent.

I feel like 10 is the embodiment of ADHD while 11 is Autism. Its so funny when they shift and I recognize each of their traits from my own

Where 5th is pretty bold and straightforward, 10th encapsulates the excitement and responding you see from neurodivergent people. Really cool! At first I thought David Tennant was just playing 10th as an intentional eccentric, but comparing this with his performance as Kilgrave in Jessica Jones, I think he might actually be neurodivergent irl. Funnily enough; I (adult recently diagnosed as autistic) really relate to the neurodivergent traits displayed by Matt Smith and Peter Capaldi's Doctors, but (possibly due to being a literal child at the time) I never noticed them in Tennant. Then my girlfriend started watching the show for the first time over the past few weeks, and by the end of Tennant's run, she insisted that so much of my behavior makes so much more sense to her. Now I see it. 😅

I actually do quite a lot of these without even realizing until I watched this video! Also I'm not 100% sure if this counts as I don't know much about neurodivergent stuff but in a deleted scene (I think, same one where he talks about hating pears) he says "Bingle bongle dingle dangle, yickety do yickety da, ping pong, lippy tappy too ta" and than line has just sat in my head rent free

The thing I like is how well his neurodivergency is written, especially in the early 2000's where neurodivergency was still considered a taboo subject. And its not even a one-off thing that only shows every few episodes. 10 being neurodivergent shows in almost every episode and it's really cool to see.
