Sarakiniko Beach* - The white volcanic rock formations created a surreal, otherworldly landscape that was perfect for photography and relaxation. *2. Kleftiko* - Taking a boat tour to Kleftiko, I snorkeled in crystal-clear waters and explored the sea caves, feeling like an adventurer discovering hidden treasures. *3. Plaka* - The town of Plaka in Milos offered stunning sunset views over the Aegean Sea, with its charming streets and welcoming atmosphere. *4. Catacombs of Milos* - Exploring these early Christian catacombs was a moving experience, as I walked through the ancient burial sites and reflected on their historical significance. *5. Firopotamos Beach* - The tranquil waters and colorful boat houses of Firopotamos Beach provided a perfect spot to unwind and soak in the island’s beauty. *6. Klima* - This picturesque fishing village, with its vibrant houses right on the water’s edge, was like stepping into a postcard. The local seafood was incredibly fresh and delicious. ### Personal Tips - *Transport*: In Athens, I found public transportation convenient, but walking allowed me to discover hidden gems. In Milos, renting an ATV gave me the freedom to explore the island at my own pace. - *Season*: I visited in late spring, enjoying pleasant weather and avoiding the peak tourist crowds. - *Food*: I indulged in Greek cuisine, savoring dishes like moussaka, souvlaki, and fresh seafood, accompanied by traditional sweets like baklava. Greece, with its historical depth in Athens and natural splendor in Milos, provided a truly unforgettable travel experience.
