Nice riding and music. Moto camping is relaxing. Liked and subscribed
Thank you!
Ay man, nice Sporty. I have a 07. What kind of handle bars are those and where can I get them.
Brand is J and P 1" and 12" height, from J & P cycles. Really no names but I believe I only paid $60 for them. Thanks for watching!
@@aharleyandavstrom5829 really nice Sportster
Nice video….what are your rpms at highway speeds - say 75mph?
In 6th gear around 3,000 rpm. Thanks for watching.
I would love to think that it still exists. I think it's long gone like the dinosaur. It's long gone like the Sunday....not work...go to church... cook out... spend time with family... the open boarders have flushed America down the drain.
Hang in there Brother it will all play out. Thanks for watching!
Nice video. I have Dunlop Trailmax Raids on my Vstrom 1050 and they work great on and off road. Thanks for sharing and ride safe.
You also ride safe and thanks for watching.
Sounds like you're ready for any situation that may arise. Thanks for sharing.
Each to there own but I love my stock ones and have to say the vstrom would have to have the best mirrors I’ve had on any bike so good job to Suzuki still loving your videos keep up the good work
Nice little cruise..
Thanks for watching!
Nice , thanks for taking me on the ride with you. Love the video ❤
Thank you, I had to do something with all the footage that I lost audio on. Thanks for watching. More to come.
Couldn't be happier with my V Strom 1000 ; awesome motorcycle
I agree. thanks for watching!
Looks like you had a nice day for a ride
Yes. it was a good ride. Thanks again for watching!
@@aharleyandavstrom5829 you're welcome 🤗 Enjoyed the video
Nice video and ride. I am hopeful that I will be able to visit Arkansas soon. Twisties are great roads for Adventure bikes.
I hope you get to. Thanks for watching!
Nice! I have a 2012 that I converted to a swing arm chopper 😃
Been thinking about that also lol. Thanks for watching!
I have the Yellow and Blue. It is the XT model. I think the "Adventure" option might be only in black? The only thing the XT non adventure model doesn't have is the baggage. Has cruise, center stand, crash bars, color dash and all the rider aids
Heck your good to go! Thanks for watching.
The Adventure model gives you standard heated grips and fog lights in addition to the luggage.
I laugh when people think the throttle settings give the bike more "pep". Every mode gives you gives you full throttle at full throttle you don't magically get more "pep". Unless you are pulling wheelies Mode A is pointless since all its doing is giving you more gas with less twist but it tapers off. Personally I like Mode C so I don't get my neck snapped every time I go over a bump. When I want more "pep" I just twist the grip. The only thing that is different is that its linear. I like knowing that when I give it 50% twist I'm giving it 50% gas. Or more importantly when that bump jerks me into cracking it 10% open its only giving me 10% and not 30%
I now leave mine in B mode all the time and it's fine . Thanks for watching. Love the Vstrom!
I am 69 years old and I agree with you. This is far worse than the 60's and 70's. It looks like the Lord is exposing everything.
Great comment. Thank you for watching.
Funny...I just ran into this video after my having installed a new set of Kirk Drag Pipes on my own Sporty last night 😆👍!!! I'm runnin' a 1990 883 Screaming Eagle 4 Speed with chain drive. (They were a bitch to put on but everything fit and they ARE loud but they sound the way a Harley should) . I'll be subscribing to your Channel that's for sure 😎👌.
Thanks for watching. Love my Sporty!
Hello I also ride a 1200 custom and I love it. Mines a 2006, and I support president Trump all the way. I voted for him in 2016, 2020, and I’m voting for him in November. Our United States is not the same under crooked Joey Biden. But you got you a new sub from the great state of Tennessee
Outstanding! Thanks for watching.
I also want to keep riding but can't because there are too many people who will not work depending on my tax money. I also need to provide medical insurance and SSI benefits to all of our illegal immigrants. ...and pay there cell phone bills...
I'm with you on that. Thanks for watching.
Hello, I have a couple of questions, I hope you can help me, a while ago I bought a pair of exhausts like yours, once installed I began to hear a leak from the front exhaust, I put a new seal and it was solved, but I noticed that the nut At the bottom it does not adjust correctly, there is an angle left, I tried to correct it and what happened is that the exhaust was completely stuck to the frame, I was able to adjust it again and the exhaust is barely two millimeters away from the frame and the nut remains with the angle, Did something similar happen to you? Did your front exhaust stay too close to the frame? Thanks greetings.
Yes my front pipe is against the frame. I know that is not correct but so far I have not had any problems with it. I quess we get what we paid for. I know that does not help much. I did not have any problems with the nuts at the being at an angle.
@@aharleyandavstrom5829 It is very helpful, thanks, I can see that the problem comes from the v-factor factory, do you have to be tightening your nuts or is that not necessary? I think what follows is to make a small dent in the exhaust so that it fits correctly without colliding with the frame, greetings from México.
@@marcodavila3858 I have not had to re tighten the nuts, so far they have stayed in place. Greetings from USA. Tenga un buen dia!
I just installed the same set of Dennis Kirk Drag Pipes last night and the front pipe on mine also is just about touching the frame. I remember reading about this same complaint in the "Product Reviews" for these pipes. I believe it's in the way they're being manufactured, not of any fault of your instillation. (You get what you pay for they say 🫤). But overall...They do the job and sound great. Too bad there's only a Single layer of chrome....I expect em' to turn blue soon 😂!!!
Great sportster content! I love your ride! Thanks for posting and keep it up please!!!
Thanks, will do! Just subscribed to your channel.
Lokks good. I just orderd pretty much the same ones for my 03 xl1200c
Thanks for watching!
Enjoyed the video
Thanks for watching!
Beautiful
Yes I do!
Thanks for watching!
I think about it too but thoughts of family brings me home.
Same here, thanks for watching!
Hello, Check out Scootertrampscotty been living off his bike since 1995. And for sure i have had that reoccurring thought. 😀
I follow Scotty. Love his channel. Thanks for watching, ride safe.
Thanks for the ride. Uve said all along the USA should take care if their own people and let other countries take care if their own. Me and my family are locked and loaded.
Looks like you're having a good ride
Always, thanks for watching!
@@aharleyandavstrom5829 you're welcome 🤗
I agree man, I have a 99 sportster and that thing is fun to ride
Maybe only the cool ones like old bikes lol. Thanks for watching!
@@aharleyandavstrom5829 hahaha! It’s a possibility!
My 74 was fun to ride too
Just what the doctor ordered a great riding video. I couldn't sleep this morning, so I was up at 3 am. drinking coffee on the front porch when I saw a notification that Harley and a Vstom posted a new video. Watching the video made me realize how much I am going to miss riding. Riding is the only thing I really enjoy because I don't fish or play golf or run the bars. I am going to have to take a break until I get enough strength back to ride safe again. The point is don't take nothing for granted because it can be taken away in a moment. Ride every chance you get and enjoy.
Glad you enjoyed it my friend. Hope your back to riding soon but take your time. Stay safe.
Great video. Ride safe.
Thanks, you too!
That's all that matters
Japanese reliability, solid bike , just routine maintenance and it can run 800.000 km on that understressed v-twin engine. Ride safe!!
You also ride safe my friend!
I no longer use balance weights. I have been using balance beads, and it's been an outstanding difference. My tire ware has dramatically decreased. I run 2 ounces on the front and rear.
We need to ride together in the smoky mountains. Will.show ypu roads most motovlogers never see.
Sounds good to me, it would be good to ride with another vloger
That's one nice huge garage. My shop doesn't have any heat. I have heated floors, but I haven't insulated. I run 705 on my versys 1000 and they are great. Must be nice having a shop that large.
Yeah, its good on the size. I heat it with the wood stove when it gets cold. Really gets hot in the summer that's why I have the fans. Good deal on the 705, thanks.
You need an ohiobackroads sticker on those boxes.
I'll add it to the others! Thanks again for watching.
Love this video. Would like to ride with you someday.
Thank you and I'm up for that if we can make it happen. Ride safe and Thanks for watching.
I have a 2022 one in blaze orange. Love this bike so much, does everything I want it to do and then some.
Thank for the detailed reveiw of the 1050XT. It's a shame Suzuki didn't give this bike full crash bars and engine guard as standard. Just sold my Benelli TRK502 and ordered the 2021v strom 1050XT. I'm slightly worried about the huge bump in power and torque but I will be cautious with it for the first few months I guess justto understand it's character. I'm not a fast rider, I love relaxed rides. The Benelli was my 'heavy motorbike' learning experiment which I think I have had enough now for 3 years. The 1050XT adventure looks like a solid motorbike. Looking to have mine arrive by mid May and hoping to keep it for the next 10yrs or so....😊
What's your opinion on Harley Davidson as a company. Do you think that Harley prices are getting out of the working class peoples price range.
I'll just say this about Harley, I will not be buying any new Harley-Davidson bikes, maybe used but not new. Harley has out priced themselves from the people who made them what they are.
Good peace full ride. That's the way I like to do it. Good vid
They are always the best rides. Thanks for watching.
Hello, and a great video. Me and some family are planning a motorcycle road trip to ride in the Ozarks. We don't know the area, but we have been doing some research. Are there any rides that you would recommend. We are planning on hitting hot springs first. Thanks ohiobackroads
Hot Springs is a good starting point. Most of the best riding is in the north west part of the state. The Pigs Tail is a known ride with good twisting turns. Thanks for watching.
Great vid. What is the part numbers for the barkbuster kit that you purchased for your Vstrom? Thanks
I believe this is the part number and description (SKU: PS-BB-BHG-086-00-NP MPN: BHG-086-00-NP Barkbusters BHG-086-00-NP Aluminum Bar Handguards for Suzuki V-Strom DL250/DL1050/DL1050XT). Thanks for watching.
Looks and sounds awsome! I got apes and short shots on my xl1200l.
Enjoy your bike. You sound like a really nice guy. Don't let all the voices predicting nothing but doom and gloom negatively impact your outlook. Your political views appear to lean conservative. If possible, it would be good if you could interact with knowledgeable, wise, respectful folks who happen to have different views from you. Stay safe and keep enjoying your motor bikes
Thanks for watching and always open to conversation. Ride safe also.
What brand? sound pretty good
They were from Dennis Kirk (V-Factor )1 3/4" Pipes. They were cheap but good enough lol.
