Many people says that this have a problem. When you cast, It gets stuck. It's like Autoblock or something. There is a video in Spanish that fix it with some tools. I'm about to buy this reel and see what happens.
That's not a classic 33. Classic is a specific series that literally say "classic" on them
If he wants to call it a classic why do you have to correct him

can you use this in saltwater like pier fishing and inshore?
I just used it off the pier and it worked great. Didn’t cast far and got nice hits. Haven’t tried inshore though.. I’m more confident in using a spinning reel and at least 7” rod for that.
I have 2 and both are a pain in the butt line keeps screwing up when they work they are my favorite but untangling them is a pain

the new 33 ain't worth a shit,the anti-reverse don't work on mine....they a junk!

Just brought me in a 20 lb channel cat a few weeks ago on this baby with the 10 lb Cajun line that came on it. The big reeling handle makes the reeling a lot faster than the older models. It'll do the job like it always has.

I have a bunch of different 33s and for whatever reason this exact model with the black plastic housing catches me so many good bass with the slow weightless 5" wacky worm. It comes with 10lb Cajun but then when I need to I change to Shakespeare 8lb soft throw line and you can slow finesse fish all day with the slow worm! Nice video, good stuff!
I've used Zebco fishing reels for over 50 years and there is non better on the market. Try one and you'll see. For ease of operation, no snarling just easy to work with and reliable.
but the old ones you cant beat... like the ones that have a metal reel seat are old ones 1970 and down
