So far very meh. The mobile gaming feel is all over the place: sounds, unit models. And using HoMM3 music in a promotional video is such a cheap move to get extra creadit from old-school fans.

Graphically its very underwhelming so uninspired, looks like some free mobile game.. For me the second still have the biggest charm visually, but love third and even fifth in that regard.

Can't beat HOMM3 with all the mods available.

HOMM is great franchise and one of the best I've ever played. Even more as a gender icon. For this preview, the only thing that looks pretty awful is the graphics downgrade from 7 or even from 6. The cartoon mood that it is shown on video, e.g. these fluffy horses, is counterwards both the atmosphere of this kind of game and the might & magic universe at all. Maybe with a chance of cross platforms (which plays against the PC platform as usual) and mobile genre, what as we have seen around many other games, just destroys the franchise. Hopefully this is just a very pre-development and it's going to become an upgraded version from 7 for PC serious players.

I dont think it was clear with the gold and what you gonna pick up - also didnt like the battle when it doesnt say how many guys 20 dwarfes or 10 demons attacking.

Say what you want but the soundtrack of H5 (not just the main menu theme) was nothing but pure brilliance. Imo the best in the franchise, even topping H3.

I think we all want this game to be good and successful. I also think many of us are concerened because of Ubisofts involvement and their tendency to ruin every game and franchise they are involved in.

Thanks for showing. Me i have a problem :( i dont have pc, i downloaded the original game from gog on my a droid device. So is not installed, is the folder lf the game. I dkw loaded vcmi but cant make it work :( i tried with other emulator but nothing...

The art style is great. Love the shell-shaded style. But I have reservations about the map design. I see no terrain elevation and no terrain decoration. Coming from Songs of Conquest, that is kind of jarring. They should focus on prettying up the map.

I don't get it ... Did u just take the old music, made HD of something that already had a HD version ... and then screw up the graphics to make it look like some shit chinese knockoff?

Looks nice and clean, which is what I was hoping. If only they would add in a 3-5X combat/exploration speed.

There for to be coming a mod with Paul A. Romeros oroginal OST xoming to this haha. Its just so enchanting and taken from somewhere sacred, i domt know how he pulled that off with robb king.

HomM 4 whe HERO is inside the battle was the best idea they had. But it didn't catch up for further games.

there is problem with this design, the buildings look familiar one and another. The mistake with lot of heroes town design is it focus only in general consistency. Heroes is game first. So, gameplay fuction must be first. the building color is similar to backround it is hard to differentiate. The shape and design, is detail but similar one another. In temple for example lot of tower and pointy roof.

Don't like the new art syle at all, for the units. Too heavy on the anime side of style. The landscape looks really good, but the units look like LoL minions. So far I'm gonna stick with Songs of Conquest and HoMM3

Heroes 5 - struggle of a man against evil. Last one standing. We don't know who won but what we know is that every time we enter this world, they kept fighting

Finally a true sequel to Heroes 3. 4 was good but very nice. 5.6.7 lacked music and soul. This actually looks like a decent game that can move units.

Meh. Not happy about the return to hex grid. Art style seems... fine. It will probably grow on me. They better have nice town screens.

this is a huge disappointment man, the graphics look 4 out of 10, why did they not update to H5 fly over town, and the look are also so badly done, even raid shadow legends looks better with their Building designs, the ppl at ubisoft need to step down and let the real team develop the next Heroes game!

IMHO Heroes 4 is far supperior but this is also good.

Since Ubisoft will develop it, I expect to be full of bugs and unfinished...like they did with heroes 3 hd

They finally understood what we were waiting for... I'm so excited by this one! If they put the soundtrack of both 2 and 3 (like the battle music from the 2 my god) that opus could be nearly perfect.

Been playing HOMM3 for almost 25 years... actually just finished a match this evening with my brother and a few mates. The HD version on steam is outstanding. The art style and everything else is just perfect. Even though it's old and outdated, the realistic look is what helped it stand the test of time. Stick to that formula and you can't go wrong. It's what we all fell in love with, for a reason. A remake which stays true to the source material would be a guaranteed win. Like those UE5 town showcase videos on UA-cam. That.... That's what we need now..... please.... someone..... 🙏
