Our friends of the band CHEST FEVER just stopped in to the shop on their way to sound check at Natalies, Grandview. CHEST FEVER is the official revival of THE BAND. They have been touring all over the country and tonight we are the lucky ones here in Columbus!
Paul Laprise on the "Hokey Pokey" Guitar

Our friend Paul Laprise picked up the famous Hokey Pokey Guitar after it's TLC treatment by our luthiers and decided to give us a little taste of a song. Paul's father wrote "The Hokey Pokey" and performed it for many years using this guitar. An entire music scholarship foundation has been built on the royalties from this one tune. The power of song is amazing.

Hi. The dark stained guitar is a slope shouldered limited edition, no longer available. The natural guitar is either an E6,8 or 10. I'm sorry that we neglected to write this in the original text. I hope this helps a little. (We have a fine assortment of Eastman acoustics in stock if you live nearby. December 29th, 2023. Aika was in a severly life altering accident several years ago. As her best friend, I can't tell you how much peace this video brings me. I am really happy they came into the shop this day.
So sorry to hear about Aika. It is a beautiful luxury when people come to the shop and give us such a lovely gift of song. We are grateful for Aika's visit as well. . . thankful that Aika has a good friend who appreciates her spirit. Peace to you both.
