DIY Turbo Pit Bike

So I decided that the homemade pit bike needs a turbo. After a day’s work, it still doesn’t ride but it runs. Will update when it runs. New project coming soon

A wonderful way to start a week. Luckily I had my 450SS to take me to work but I needed to get this done by Friday. With a ton of set backs, I got it done and avoided having to ride in the rain.

CFMOTO 450SS takes on the rain: when the weather app lies to you

As I usually do….I check the weather in the morning to make sure there would be not bad weather. Well about an hour before quitting time at work…the sky started getting little dark. Checked the radar and boom! A giant storm is right outside the city coming my way. 3:20: First sign of the down pour 8:07: First Wreck 12:50: Second, much bigger crash

After owning the bike for less than 3 days. I’ve already put on a slip on exhaust off eBay, new tag bracket, usb port, radiator guard and a dash cam. I’ve own the bike for nearly a month and couldn’t complain about anything…yet. By far the best bang for the buck on any BRAND NEW BIKE! Turbo Go Kart? Maybe not...
Переглядів 178 місяців тому
I started to work on the turbo project for the go kart...but I will need to build another go kart for that. I do not want to be without a go kart while working on a turbo kit. I did some work on the steering. Always a work in progress.
Final Suspension on Go Kart

I had to change it up again. I moved the steering rack forward and it seems to work well. I still need to weld out everything and figure out a footrest. I can ride it now so that's the important part.
Homemade Go Kart Suspension
Переглядів 21311 місяців тому
So the go kart project has been going well....It just needed to be a little smoother. I have a pretty bumpy yard so I needed something more. As you will see at the end....The whole front suspension has already been changed but that will be in the next video. Stay tuned!

Carb is meant to have air drawn through it, not pushed through it...if you want it to work properly, it should be before the turbo rather than after it. Of course, if you're not making boost, then it probably wont matter much beyond messing with the A/F richness. Go have a look at Cars & Camera's turbo setups on their carts, if you need more details.

The mixture gets poor when u rev it, that may be bc the turbo is doing some pressure and that's pushing back the fuel in the carb

You need to tune your car after throwing on a high flow cat. Tuning it will turn the check engine light off and will properly flash your ecu to the proper modifications. I have a b8.5 with a HFC and a stage 2 tune and I don’t have a check engine light

Not really. It’s got a lot of miles so it’s not worth spending the money on. I will probably do suspension soon since it’s pretty old.

Glad that you enjoyed it! I haven't made many videos on the Audi but I will be trying to get some more posted. I also recently bought a TBR7 so some videos about that soon too.
