Thanks FireWalker, good tips I'll take some chicken out with me next time and when she goes off a a dog while we are eating I will reward her only when her attention is on me and she is behaving using the leave it command, hopefully she will get the message, she is a clever girl and as I say well behaved in every other aspect, I think she suffers from only child syndrome ha ha x x

Wow as an owner of 1 mal I totally can't believe this you are a star to control them like that!! My Mal is very soft and gets on great with other animals, but is very food aggressive it's the only nightmare I have with her otherwise extremely well behaved. Any tips please x x

@malikcarpenter49 It depends on the Breeder and where you live. Some start at $400.00 and some as much as $1200.00. But make sure you know what you are getting into. They are a very unique breed.

Now that is amazing. Alaskan Malamutes are one of the most stubborn breeds I know. 1 malamute is enough for me!

you remind me of my uncle from out in new brunswick. he's got a setup something like this. he races his malamutes in sled races. his lead dogs huge. he puts his paws on a six foot persons shoulders and he'd be an a few inches taller.

so impressive that they wait for you till they can eat now that is good training hats off to you sir!
