Bruh, I can appreciate u being faithful to Dragon Age, but Veilguard isn't gonna last long. BioWare really screwed the pooch with this title. Maybe go back to the older titles. Most likely those would get more traction frfr.
Imagine playing this on purpose lol
you got it
I was kinda disappointed how this story turned out
I’ve enjoyed it. I do think it could have been more given we’ve waited 10 years for the sequel. But it closes out a lot of theories. Still a few lingering questions though
Congratulations. This aged amazingly well.
This aged pretty well
So freaking well....wow!
@@silentcomedyW5 would've preferred your style of it over what we got though official means
@RockingRebelYell 100% agree. Ironically, I just got insulted by someone in the comments of another video for having this opinion. Glad to not he alone here
This aged well lol
Bro you made it 🎉
Congrats 👏🏻👏🏻
i was recommended this video too lol
im looking forward to it man
This was a good simple explanation of the gods, was there so many videos and your was perfect thanks you!!
So the gods that were released are Elgar'nan and Ghil'anain. I saw in the high level game play and it was for the grey wardens and it said Ghil'anain and her archdemon were reeking havoc on the world. So does that mean the previous blights just combined the souls of the archdemons and the evanuris or something different? That's what i want to know. Im excited for the game
I think there will be so many legacy characters in this one. Fenris with the Shadow Dragons, Isabella with the Lords of fortune, Dorian maybe with the Mournwatch, Meril with the veil jumpers, Zavren with the Crows, and in the Grey Wardens there are so many possibilities. Maybe Hawke or even our hero of fereldon.
I for sure expect Fenris with his recent connection in the comics with the idol. Dorian not just because it’s in Tevinter but I expect he’ll be a source of information through the game but also I think Neve has been helping investigate his father’s death. I would like to see our warden.
Man, that really was a crimson wolf.
im glad they brought back morrigan in the game
I’m so excited to see her. I’m curious what she’s been through
@@crimsonwolf210 im also excited how's Kieran and the warden doing
Corppheus tells us the truth in a secret quest in Inquisition ☝️ They saw the black dark magic, and claimed it for themselves for power. And they all went their separate ways across the world. The world is much larger than what we have experienced so far. When you look at the map.
Oh shit you made that?? That’s really cool dude
i tink reason why she hes her daugther collect all soul she does not want anchient power being posses go away like morrgan 1 said some power wort perserv this world flemth said treu 2 to wat end thet end dont know find out nexst game
Any time I look at the Red lyrium idol I can't help but think it is displaying a prophecy.
Could it be an artifact from each Evanuris that would assist him with moving their prisons? As that is what he implied he was doing in the ritual. A typical ritual normally is stronger with an item of the person. Or maybe it was something from each Evanuris that enabled the activation of the power in their statues that was a power focus?
I really don't know how they're going to cover the Warden schism when that issue should be long done and over with. It started in 44 Dragon, and now it's 52. Anything that was going to happen or resolve has already done so by now. I can't see Hawke staying at Weisshaupt for nine years or so, and I can't see the Hero staying away for this long either. The timeskip is a worrisome thing. It's almost like a world-reset short of tearing down the veil.
I hope you can see Adult Kieran in Veilguard.
You mentioned 'black divine'. It reminds me on Reallife fight between Lutheran and Catholic. I would like it to see or hear more of the black pope (i read in Orlean church the Divine ever is female and in Tevinter male). We already Seen and heard about the Orlean divine in Inquisition. I mean its the highest religious position in Thedas. So why not involving in Veilguard in tevinter an important role for the current Black Pope.
Cool
Maybe audio issues, but the conversation seems to abruptly stop around 22:30. But it’s been a great listen so far.
Thanks for letting me know. I’ll try to go in and fix or replace the video to get the audio back
I think the fools Solas is talking about are actually the Forgotten Ones. Some quotes from Inquisition seem to strongly imply that FOs were elves that basically wanted to end slavery: "They may have greatly resented the Creator gods, and in fact asserted that there are no "gods" and that the right of dominance over others comes from deeds rather than nature.". Is is possible that while trying to defeat the Evanuris, they looked for a source of power that would let them do that, and found the Void and the Blight. It's possible that they have managed to escape the Abyss and blight the Fade, corrupting the Evanuris and the Golden City and it was them who called the magisters.
Great video -- thanks!
They almost sound like a Qunari.
2:30 bro be like, "im outta 'ere!'
But why banish the former slaves to the void underground? Why did Solas believe that was preferable to letting them wander in a post veil world
I think Solas foresaw them becoming just like the Evanuris & corrupt with power. If the Forgotten Ones were rivals to the Evanuris then they could have become just as strong & he may not have wanted free. Or it could be that they were cast in the void by mistake when Solaris put up the veil.
@@crimsonwolf210 it is said that the forgotten ones could traverse the void without issue. Perhaps they were the equivalent of red templars, but worse. Like a dark spawn red Templar hybrid. Like andruil before them he saw what happened when they went too far trying to wield the blight. Perhaps this is the thing that is “far worse” than the current set of problems as it pertains to the blight
I think Forgotten Ones is simply the old elven word for darkspawn.
I don't think the Evanuris intentionally created the blight, I think the blight is what happens when you cut off the dwarves from a Titan. According to Dagna, when she had visions of being as tall as a mountain, she felt as though her thoughts were everyone's thoughts, as if her mind was a collection of everyone's minds. We also know that Mythal slew several titans, but also severed dwarves from their Titans. After aeons of mining the dead titans for Lyrium, something happened, and the Evanuris were afraid of what they'd unleashed, so much so that they sealed their Lyrium mines with magic. So what would happen when you remove the mind of a Titan? Say you remove the dwarves from the hivemind, leaving the titan mindless, like a beast driven by emotions. What you get is something that's alive, but unthinking, driven by primal emotions, like anger. And what does Cole say about Red Lyrium? That it's angry.
You frickin nailed it lol
HOLY SHIT YOU GOT IT
Wow...this was spot on
So they were Spartacuses of elven society? Rebel leaders demonized by the Evanuris so that their slaves would be less likely to follow them.
I just hope that there aren't a bunch of fetch quests in dreadwolf like there were in some of the other games. Both in dragon age and other games.
I like that theory, I can also see Bianca coming back, or at the very least her research, and this being the main point to allow us to redeem solas in dreadwolf if that is an option, he will go to any extent to bring back the world as it was yes, but I also feel like the evanuis definetely have sommething o do with the begining of the blight, or at least the ones who first brought it to thedas, because of how powerful was solas reaction everytime the greywardens were involved, perhaps if you can show to him that red lyrium is blighted lyrium he might reconsider his actions, even i feel that it will be too late for him anyway. I dont see our bald elf walking out of dreadwolf tbh.
Bro! Just coming upon your channel for the first time. I'm from New Orleans too! I was living in Chalmette when Katrina hit. My family lost everything too and I dealt with depression for a long time as well. Dragon Age was an escape for me too.
Interesting way to discover it. Thanks for sharing.
Also, the message Miriam's character gives us is that we don't have to wait for someone else to save us, we have the power to save ourselves.
I agree that what Hira did is terrible. You expect it from Rezaren. As you say, even if he was innocent as a child, he grew up with those beliefs grilled into him. He became the tool his mother wanted him to be but also became a manipulator and slave owner. His upbringing shaped him. Hira is also Tevinter, her upbringing shaped her, but we don't know this until later, and she paints herself as noble and the different Tevinter, but she's no different than Rezaren. She just denies it to herself.
Um, nope, it's been proven that's they're underground until tainted, then transfer their soul to the Grey Warsen that kills them, at which point both souls are destroyed. That's why Keiran acts as though he is tranquil.
So solas trapped old gods but they tricked magisters to free them (but solas prevented their escape putting them into blighted dimension so they wont have clear minds) even after release they couldnt be goods but blighted dragons . And as hakkonites belives slaying god in dragon form will help him resurect and be free. So mythal prevent them from ressurecting by collecting their souls. But how does she bind those souls and what she will do with them ?
Great analysis! I loved Miriam, and I really liked all of the other characters as well. I'm hoping to see more of them in the future, whether that's through another season or in the next game. Either way I'm looking forward to seeing where they take this storyline next.
In Tolkien's Silmarillion the Valar were there at the beginning of the Earth's creation. They were part of the chorus that sang the Earth into being. As such they hold a large bit of the fate of the Earth in their minds. They know parts of the future of the Earth's evolution. As such they have a certain role to play in that evolution because they sang it into being at the beginning. I think Flemeth is collecting old god souls in order to know what to do in the future. In order to carry out an evolutionary role in the fate of Thedas. Just as she played a role in the Hero of Ferelden's story and Hawke's story - which led to the unleashing of Corypheus and the Inquisitor's story. I dont think Solas is controlling her as much as both of them are being controlled by fate. They are acting as agents of fate or evolution. They are intervening to fulfill the song that was sung at the beginning- the "calling". The next phase of the evolution is coming. What form it will take may involve the intervention of other avatars, other than Solas or Flemeth: Fen Harel or Mythal.
She’s a well written and acted character. I really enjoyed the animation as well, emotive and fluid, love me some super powered rogue combat! Also, my gods, classic Bioware, making a protagonist suffer to a degree where they have to kill their own twin not once but twice. Heck. Settle down, writers!
For me be able to kick out party members, have a twist to the members and the story, random events.
cool a Da theory channel
Magic is Magic, just as water is water
Just found your channel! Such great content thank you! I would just say try to turn down the background music abit it can be hard to hear your voice with it.
I appreciate the feedback, I’ll be sure to work on that!
In inquisition instead of busting down the door of the keep in the hissing wastes you can go around the back and climb the well rope for a short surprise attack which as stealthy as it gets.
Yeah, but I wish there was a bit more to it. I’d like to have seen ways to infiltrate keeps in some variety but that’s just to give me more options throughout my playthroughs
I think Solas got his vengeance when he put up the Veil. Mythal/Flemeth is still looking for justice. We should remember that the female of are more antagonistic when riled. If Mythal is taking the power of the Old Gods to power the mirrors, then their power will be bound to that mirror, I think.
I think he may have got some revenge when he sealed the elven gods but he didn’t necessarily want to create the veil since it sealed off the elves immortality. So now I think he wants to kill the elvanuris & restore elf immortality
Maybe. I'll admit, I hadn't thought of that. I think he wanted to get rid of their immortality and needed the time to let those stories become myths so that the Elves would forget their old allegiances. If he can get rid of the elves/First Children who killed Mythal then the elves will have no one to follow but he and Mythal.
