The nymph that years for her love and with the hope that the moon grants her wish so that the prince may know her true feelings, such a sad song to end this tribute but the music was beautiful that it makes this journey worth it.

Simple yet dense with music that captivates the listener with every step of the way, for me each piece is a representation of life and it's beauty.

All the performances was truly unique and with all of being folk brings you a nostalgic feeling of your past.

The emotions was on point with this piece as every note was felt and as I listen more the song became full of deep emotions that conveys the piece's romance.

The piece is like a broken hearted lover, and the blend of soprano by Anna Migallos and the wonderful piano of Mariel Ilusorio they both bring out the piece to its full potential, the piece may be filled with sorrows but to the ears it sounds so beautiful.

It had the vibe of an adventure and the emotion in the music is truly felt, it is an amazing piece that takes you into a slow adventure.

This performance was truly astounding! Just listening to the first few minutes made me emotional and feel a sense of calm and happiness. Hope to hear more :D

Twilight Way, found in 13 Poetic Tone Pictures, Op. 85, No. 1, captures the dramatic presence and weight of melancholy for the audience.

The violinist Denise Huang's contribution on the humoresques Op. 101 No. 7 captures the essence of liveliness and tranquility, evoking dreamy memories and a peaceful future.

Gypsy Songs, Op. 55, which features soprano Anna Migallos, is a masterpiece of flawlessness. Anna became Mariel's piano vocalist, bringing elegance and emotion to her pitch and tone.

The Romance in F Minor, Op. 11 with violinist Denise Huang became one of my favorites among the seven, the piano's melodies and the violin's overwhelming song undoubtedly evoked strong feelings.

The soprano Anna Migallos migated the vibrancy of emotions in the Folk Tone, Op. 73.

The Sonatina in G Major once more with Denise Huang, and it did not let me down. With their partnership, it began like a lovely tune that was fast-paced, but yet had drama and liveliness.

Despite the foreign language, the song to the Moon and Anna promoted a holistic approach similar to what you might hear and see at a church performance. It is important to note, though, that although a piano can easily overpower a human voice, Anna's vocal was able to steal the show while also generously collaborating with Mariel's song to create a dramatic and harmonized emotional rendition of Dvorak's work.

The performance of Twilight Way by Antonín Dvořák for solo piano is a beautifully emotive interpretation, capturing the piece's delicate balance of melancholy and serenity.

The perforamance really shows full of emotion and it illustrates clearly the beauty og Dvořák's music.

This is hauntingly beautiful, blending longing, nature, and fantasy. It reflects Rusalka’s deep yearning for connection as she sings to the moon, hoping it will convey her love to a human prince. The music beautifully captures the universal experience of reaching out for love, fulfillment, or self-realization-feelings we all share. Rusalka’s plea feels like a metaphor for the tensions we face navigating different worlds-emotionally or socially-torn between the familiar and the unknown. The lilting melody and expressive dynamics convey hope mixed with sorrow, while the lush harmonies create an enchanting, otherworldly atmosphere. Absolutely mesmerizing!

This sonatina blends simplicity and depth so beautifully, capturing both the innocence and curiosity of childhood. It’s even more meaningful knowing that Dvořák wrote this within the technical reach of young players and for his own children. I love how the carefree energy of the piece is balanced by moments of introspection, almost as if Dvořák was reflecting on his own longing for home. It’s incredible how music that seems so straightforward can carry such emotional weight, blending American influences with his Bohemian roots. The performers captured that beautifully, making the emotions resonate even more deeply.

This remake really took me back to a simpler time. It feels like the music is showing us what rural life might have been like, where music was just a natural part of everyday life. What hit me the most is how it captures that feeling of nostalgia and belonging-how music can connect us to our roots in ways words sometimes can’t. I love how the folk themes are so simple, but the arrangement is still really sophisticated, kind of like how life balances the ordinary with the deeper things. It definitely made me think about how important it is to remember where we come from, even in today’s world. Such a timeless piece!

This piece is so beautifully evocative! I could really feel the mix of tenderness and melancholy throughout. The way it conveys a deep sense of longing, almost as if it's searching for something just out of reach, really resonated with me. I noticed the use of minor keys at the start-it creates such a vulnerable and emotional atmosphere. The violin, especially, struck me. It 'sings' so expressively, soaring and softening in turns, almost like it’s inviting me to reflect on my own past. Also, the theme of 'Romance' really shines through, bringing out feelings of nostalgia and bittersweet memories for me. It reminds me of times when I’ve held back my true feelings to keep the peace, much like the violin’s dance between resolution and tension. Absolutely beautiful.

I’m not very familiar with Romani culture, but this performance with the vocals and piano has taught me a lot. The pieces presented have a haunting quality that, I think, reflects the struggles and heartaches faced in the pursuit of freedom and happiness. Alongside that, the vibrant melodies capture the joy and spontaneity of their indomitable spirit, showcasing their resilience. This duality in experiences-of highs and lows-is something we all encounter every once in a while. With that, thank you for performing this!

This was beautifully done! I think this piece captures our complex emotions. The lively, catchy melodies evoke joy and playfulness, reminding us of carefree moments. Yet, there’s also a sense of sorrow and nostalgia as the music shifts from playful to reflective. I appreciate this duality because this shows that laughter can coexist with sorrow. Thank you for this! This piece genuinely touched me and made me pause to think about the path I’m taking in life. I often rush from one phase of life to the next, but Twilight Way reminded me of the importance of lingering in fleeting moments-the ones that aren’t defined by clear beginnings or endings but are still filled with meaning- to introspect and enjoy what life brings in the present moment.
