Hi my name is Spencer. I am an aspiring podium chasing triathlete based out of Florida. I’ve challenged myself with 12 triathlons in 12 months. (With the 12th one being Ironman Atlantic City, NJ 70.3) I’m documenting my journey through this platform and others. Here's an inside look into my race and taking first place for my age group. This triathlon had many up's and down's but in the end we prevailed. My name is Spencer Taliaferro. My last name in Italian translates to "Iron Cutter" I started my journey in triathlon just under a year ago. I challenged myself to 12 triathlons in 12 months. This video show my 12 race and my longest distance, Half Ironman 70.3 Atlantic City, FL. I now reside in Florida but Atlantic City is where I was born.

This is my story from October 2021 to June 2022. My next race is at the end of July. Following that I will have another race early August and then the big race in Atlantic City, NJ. That will be my first 70.3 Distance. I hope this video will show that anything is possible. You just have suffocate your excuses and put in the work.

Hello, thanks for commenting. I’m actually hosting a clinic on the race right at Play Tri sarasota. It’s the triathlon store next to the race course by UTC mall. I’m doing a clinic and giving out all of the hot tips Thursday Jan 4th, I will also walk through anyone’s race with them. Just little cool meet up with some triathletes at the store.
