Initially I got such errors it since because I did not replace to correct parameters in the .env file. Please double check all the required parameters that need to be changed and re try. Replace all the correct uuid fields as necessary

Ohh this is because of few reasons. First check your storage, did you changed the uuid v4 correctly in all the required places ? Please check that also

@@cyber-MED I received the same error and couldn't see logs either to determine what happened. I did change the UUIDv4 in all places like suggested in your video. Not sure what I am doing wrong.

It actually looks like after reviewing the logs for that particular docker id that the "Elastisearch died while starting up, with exit code 137". Upon further research it looks like that happens when Elastisearch has consumed too much memory and the system intervenes to prevent a complete system crash. But how would I expand that? since it's a docker container? I see something about checking the JVM heap size in jvm.options but I don't have any idea where to find that. Please help when you can, thank you.

@@cyber-MED sorry if I make you confusing when I was launch the fortigate in VM for first time, we need to get the ip address for the portal right I was follow your step using the command "config system interface" and enter the interface config mode after this you are using the command "edit" and get the port ip address if I not mistaken However, when I use the edit command, I didnot get any information for the port ip address, it just like I entering a invalid command and didnot give me any respond I was download the fortigate version 7.4.5 new deployment for your references, can you pls refer to 11:35, I was stuck at this step

@@khooqiaoyin7614 I totoaly got that. Before you do that, if you have configured the Correct DHCP settings and network adaptops in your hypervisor that must work. Please double check the DHCP settings and you have assigned the correct interface to the forti VM. Feel free to ask anything and thank you for adding the reference.

You need to navigate to your file location and enter the command. That might be easy for you. For example if you have downloaded the .ps file in to download folder, navigate to that folder using your power shell terminal and then enter that command. Hope this will help.. please keeps posted. Hi, imo if you can go with parallel go for it. Those who are still not willing to afford that, they have VMware fusion for free. Also I personally do not prefer MACs with apple silicone (Intel versions are fine) for penetration testing or some sort of related activities in Cybersecurity. The reason is most of the VM images are not compatible and have to spend lot of time with troubleshooting.. windows is easier and can use VMware or Oracle virtual box or both for get all most all the things done. I think this is depend. I tested this few days ago with VMware workstation and that is pretty fast than the Oracle virtual box.. I was very surprised 😧

You need to increase the GB space of the hard disk before to start the installation procedure.

Increase space to at least 25GB and select .5x instead of .6x when choosing linux

Blue stack is also good. But the down side is you can't connect that with other VMs. Lest say you want to exploit the android using Kali Linux, you can't do that if the android system is in BlueStacks.

There should not be any different for windows 11 as far as I know. You better try turnoff the firewall and windows defender on your test vm

Try disabling the windows defender on windows PC.. newer updates are blocking the metasploit payloads

Check these things IP and port number when generating the payload Same port number should use to listen from Kali side Disable the windows defender If the windows system is x64 use x64 meterpreter
