I enjoy finding new people that play this game. Found two new streamers few days ago and nkw you. I do hope to see this game become bigger than it is (even if it would hardly survive such growth, the SethTide showed that) In my personal opinion the stories are one of the best parts of these games. Random rounds that were so memorable, that it feels more like a fantasy novel than a game you got to experience.

Oblivion was released in 2006. It was almost 20 years ago, hindsight is necessary. Bethesda did an amazing job bringing the game to life for the limitations they had to work with.

SS14. The place where you could be a lone janitor one minute, the next you're an assassin with a mop and chemicals in your bucket

5 years ago space station was a different place where AI laws only protected humans on some servers and people ran around saying the L word to Lizards, it all changed after the gsme got super popular with furries after UA-camrs kept playing it.

I remember this one time I played as a chemist and I got syndicate agent, and since I was an antag I decided to test something on command. I wanted to run into command when I got the chance and fill it with mustard gas, so I made bleach and ammonia, but I was immeasurably naive. I ran into command, luckily almost every head and chief was there including the captain, and I put 100u of ammonia into my 100u filled bleach jug. Little did I know, *bleach and ammonia made literal mustard, not mustard gas* . I got slipped by a puddle, and the mustard jug spilled all over command. Intended target: Command. It is a cool game. That no my friends wants to play. "It's pixelated (We play minecraft)" "It's role play (GTA5 Roleplay is better for them, but I see no roleplay there since its fucking GTA)" "Hard to understand (and some of them playing D&D 24/7)". Very sad.

Space station 14 is a very fun game, I even have more than 2,000 hours on it. But I don’t recommend new players play on the official ‘wizards den’ servers, it’s fine on the surface but it’s a can of worms I regret opening

Every time I meet someone in Space Station 13 that says - "I'm new", I drop all my shit and stop doing my job just to show that guy around and teach them how to play or what to do. I think that comes from a community of people that mostly do the same for me or any other player they meet. Not to say about strangers carrying you to med bay if you're hurt\dead just because, but even joining your stupid ideas. Like one time as a clown, I just got a ton of cardboard from botany and started making cardboard cutouts and painting them to resemble a clown with a paint can. Some other people joined my "army", security started arresting cardboard clowns for "Illegal gathering", some journo did a story about clown swarm, even small things like that is so fun, that even after 3 hour round you just press ready for another one.

Imperiàl city is siege of power ànd unity of Tamriel but u. hàve. to remember the context of the third empire, talos wwàs just à màn ànd wipe every other nation so fast, so the city bàsicly is only build for impress ànd to resist siege. ofc horses will struggle top of à hill with toons of stàirs, it's the purpose.

Try out goobstation or funky station in ss14, they got more antagonist variety and features (and good moderation).

If your brand new I suggest starting out on Paradise Station. There a bit more user friendly with a useful wiki, longer time players tend to show new ones how to do various things (sometimes) and the rules are pretty clear.

I find it funny that no speciesism is allowed, but the Vox and Slimes are treated like second class citizens when it comes to atmospheric safety from NanoTrasen.

One thing i allways loved abot ss13/14 is that even tho there is 0 espectation or requirement for any random person to help you out be it with building someting achiving a goal or just rldraging you out of a bad situation, people still do it. And thats someting i very rarely see in anyother place.

Nothing's taken more of my free time than Spess. It's like virtual Crack, much like Factorio. Always end coming back for another shot of silly spessmen doing silly things.

Playing ss14 is the best thing I have done and also the worst mistake I made. It's basically a double edged sword, with the amount of drama it has. As long as you don't join any of the discord servers you should be fine.

The rules do help foster a better playing environment, but the selective over and under enforcement leave some things to be desired. As for the community outside of the game it's positive besides a few glaring issues. The people in charge of the main branch seem to act like they have an issue with forks, sometimes they hardcode stuff to force changes to happen.

Interestingly, I got recommended your Imperial City review on release two months ago or so. And now you release this and it shows up for me again, algorithms can be scary. I started playing space station 13 eleven years ago and it's always interesting to see how much has changed.

Great video, and I totally understand your point about the horses in the city, but I will say, in lore, the imperial city is absolutely MASSIVE, it is a couply miles in diameter and with that scale horses would most definitely have a path somewhere in the city, i agree though the market district is most definitely in a shitty spot and should probably swap places with the even gardens district

12:23 WAT?? The Niben river literally cuts southern Tamriel in half. It feeds out into Topal bay. That’s like its whole thing. Edit: oh that’s weird asf, I haven’t played too much oblivion. In lore Lleowyn is on the West Bank of the niben river.
