I LOVE that you guys don't throw anything away. I see SO MANY UA-camrs who throw so many scraps away or they burn them. I live in Los Angeles so all of the wood everyone uses is really expensive for me. It's not local and easy to find like it is for people in other states. It just KILLS me inside to see everyone waste it by burning it or throwing it away. I can make so many things with those scraps and it's great to see you saving everything and using as much of the wood as possible.

yes! they don't require it as often as they get used less than everyday utensils. Every few months is probably good enough.

Brad, when oiling my bloodwood Terra scraper, I've noticed that it's releasing pigment. Is this normal?
My mom has one of these she has used her whole life. She has had other rolling pins in other styles, but she always goes to this one. I want to turn one for her as a gift. These are really nice rolling pins.
