Was the VR turned off when using tripod? Did you come & save the chick? I have the ATG Nikon 500 -1,750 EDG VR lens and had to turn off on tripod when using on my ATG Nikon D3s IR. You should get the ATG AK1 Un-Tethered Systems with your camera & lens. Shoot everything wirelessly including wireless live-view & wireless radio flash from camera or pc. Nice music.
