I definitely don’t want to go to places that speak English or have English menus. I need it to be authentic Italiano where the locals eat and not the tourists. Any recommendations?
Hi! Thanks for watching! This is a good question and I understand that feeling of not wanting to be with tons of tourists. You just have to know that Italy is very popular and there will be probably be tourists in every big city and popular beach. Most Italians who work in the service industry (hotels, restaurants, taxi, etc.) will speak some level of English. I have been to smaller towns with absolutely no tourist activities were the locals didn't speak much English. I'm posting a video about one of these towns from Sicily next week. I would try and find a town away from any main city. Let me know where your are thinking of visiting! Also, do you speak Italian?

Hi! Yes, I think so. We were in nice areas most of the time. I use my phone to record everything so it’s really easy to put my phone away fast if I need to. The only time I might have been concerned about having it out is when we were in crowds of people by Chinatown. Are you going to Lima soon?

Hi! Yes, we went to L’Ancora for lunch (seafood) and Zefiro for drinks and dinner. Both were great! Zefiro is also a beach club where you can rent lounge chairs. I hope this helps! When are you going to Sicily?!? -Nicole

Staying Catania 1 night, Ortigia 6 nights, Ragusa 5 nights, Modica 6 nights, Ortigia 6 nights then Catania 1 night. A chance to seriously relax, cook, eat fine food, sunbathe and swim. Cuatro Cuatros was my favorite all around place but I also loved Monte Xanic as a winery.
