Jamboree was made by Floella Benjamin Productions and Knowledge Through Entertainment (KTE) an XL Entertainment plc company for CiTV. XL Recordings originally began as an off-shoot of XL Entertainment but after XL Entertainment went down the drain, its record company is still going. Jamboree was filmed at Hillside Studios of Watford.

If anyone could ask: Why would VCI/Central Video release Wizadora on VHS even though it's a Meridian programme? That's because Central owned a stake in Meridian Broadcasting, so its international distribution arm CTE distributed Wizadora and it made sense for its VHS imprint 'Central Video' via VCI that they can release Wizadora on VHS.

After The Video Collection's distribution deal with Worldvision Home Video ended right after Aaron Spelling purchased Worldvision Enterprises from Great American Broadcasting, Hanna-Barbera started self-distributing their cartoon shows on VHS under 'Hanna-Barbera Home Video', this lasted until 1991 when it was distributed by Turner Home Entertainment and therefore First Independent Films became its distributor in the UK which lasted until 1998 when Warner Home Video snapped it up.
