Popular for its serene atmosphere, the area is ideal for walking, birdwatching, and photography. Highlights include wooden bridges, meadows, and opportunities to spot wildlife in their natural habitat. It’s a year-round destination, with trails accessible for hiking, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing in the winter. While hiking in this area, we came across some trees adorned with small Christmas decorations. The festive touches filled the air with holiday spirit, adding a cheerful and heartwarming vibe to our adventure. It truly brought us joy and made the experience even more memorable.

A couple of years ago, when I first came across this big tree, the round burl was a rock being hugged by the tree. Now, the rock is completely engulfed and has become part of the tree itself.
