As someone who skipped over the show as a kid (forget why, maybe I just couldn't catch it back then?) watching it now kinda made me regret not checking it out when I was a kid. By 2000's standards, it pretty good. It's a shame never t the 6 seasons and the movie it wanted. I really want to know what was planned for the show.

When I was a kid I never noticed that they aged up. Some youtuber told when I was starting to get in to my 20's some were, and that was the first time I noticed. I was shure that the kids would have the same bodies as in the guardian form if they wore tight fitting clothing to school and stuff. Like the time Irma tried to date an older guy blew right over my head. I was all like "and why doesn't he recognize Irma?". Yeah. Irma was TRUELY the boy crazed one 😂

If you read the comics you'll notice that the guardians go everywear. It was just that lame ass disney that kinda killed the tv series

I haven't watched this show but the humor is incredibly well designed for something that came out a long time ago

It irritates me to no end that Disney seems to hate this franchise. The worldbuiding of the comics had a lot to be desired, then they decided to make this a cartoon without the original authors involved and only giving the showrunners the first six issues and telling them to do the best they could when they had questions. This actually needed a reboot and we got it last year, but then they changed so many things so it's like a new story with au versions of the characters. Us fans need to get together and demand they reboot the reboot and do this story justice.

regarding the petra and rafael situation: rafael feels betrayed. he married somebody who lied about being faithful AND their whole identity. It's very understandable why he wouldn't trust her and feels used, which is why he didn't wanna give her the money. Obviously, i understand Petra as well. But I don't think either of them is exactly evil or a bad person.

Okay so you should check out Obans Japanese/French opening, which is its original, the one you're probably familiar with is the American one(correct me if I'm wrong). But man I really love Oban, I found how it ended to make a lot of sense on retrospect, but yeah I remember being kinda disappointed first time through. I know this is an old video of yours but it was fun ^^ I'm glad you're still active.
