My motor started making a "seizing sound" years ago and I ended up throwing the whole thing out a few years ago during spring cleaning. Used to take it to central park.

I had this model twice, both times as a kid, many many years ago. The first time I was very inexperienced and it was a mess. The second time, came out a lot better and I mickey moused a radio controlled rudder system by using parts from an RC truck.
