I want season 8 for Acolyte.. with a 2 billion dollar budget and a 30 Trillion dollar lost

I can see all the setup for a second season, but I'm not sure they can do one. Even apart from the poor ratings, what characters are available to focus on? All the remaining cast are evil: Qimir, Osha, Mae, and the bald green Jedi-lady whose name I forget are all villains. And so is the possibly surviving Mother Horns (Coral, I think?), and of course Darth Plageuis. So who would we focus on--Basil the Otter?

Invasion of Time, Part 1: The Doctor is locked In Borusa's room and finds another exit, but it's locked. Naturally he uses his sonic screwdriver, but fails. He looks at the camera and says, "Even the sonic screwdriver won't get me out of this one!" I'm pretty sure that was a cliffhanger, but I watched the version where the six episodes were made into two long ones.

The ending of "Death to the Daleks" part three was not the intended cliffhanger. I'm going by memory here, having only seen the story once. According to the commentary on the DVD, in the original ending the Doctor and Bellal are fleeing from the Daleks and turn into a corridor, only to encounter a dead end. The Daleks then enter the corridor and the episode was supposed to end at that point. For reasons I've forgotten, part of the episode had to be cut, so what was supposed to be the cliffhanger came several minutes earlier than planned. In the finished episode the checkerboard came up at about the 25-minute mark, so that became the ending.

Sacha Dwahan played the Master like an overacting pantomime villain. Only know Derek Jacobi from the TV, and he was very good but not enough Master time to judge. For me Michelle Gomez was by far the finest realisation of the role. Missy had an arc that gave us real backstory and a convincing relationship with the Doctor. The chemistry between Gomez and Capaldi was magical, and her performance magnetic, hilarious and terrifying, sometimes all in the same moment. She was, dare I say it, beyter than Delgado.

I wish Trolls Band Together was in here. That one was great

I was getting on .... OK with this episode, I accepted the good over the bad, then .... the twist at the end. Oh boy that destroyed the whole episode in my eyes. Sad times.

Well just finished Episode 2 of 'Doctor Who' and that has pretty much finished me with 'Doctor Who'. Unmitigated shite that made the dire Episode 1 seem like masterpiece. Straight out of the school of thought, "Well it's science fiction, so we can make up any old bollocks as we go along and it'll be fine. Oh, and fuck logic, internal or otherwise." Topped of by the possibly the most nails on-blackboard-irritating villain we've ever witnessed, coming across like a second rate drag act's take on 'Bette Midler from Hocus Pocus'. In the past on 'Doctor Who', we've had the likes of Michael Gambon, John Hurt, Helen McCrory, Derek Jacobi, Timothy Dalton, Olivia Colman, Lindsay Duncan and Ian McKellen grace the. show. Last Saturday night we had the Doctor square off against a former winner of 'Rupaul's Drag Race'. Nice to know that Russel T Davies is using the extra bucks generated by the Disney deal, to attract the top acting talent. And who the fuck researched The Beatles and 1963 for this show? Helen Keller? When Doctor Who was made for tuppence and the monsters were made out of cardboard and bubble wrap, it was infinitely more engaging than this shite. There are more great films, TV shows, books and music than one will ever get through in a lifetime, so I feel no need to waste any more time on this junk in vain hope of the occasional decent episode. RIP Doctor Who

It was ruddy awful.

The smartest thing they did on Disney+ was to label 'The Church On Ruby Road' as Episode 1 of "Season 1" of Doctor Who. Because DAMN would It be a hard sell for me get a new friend interested in the show if this was their first episode. The other smart thing that they did was also release 'The Devil's Chord' on the same night to wash the taste of that out of our mouths.

I have no idea what they were thinking. As most people only watch one episode of a show to decide if they are interested. Why start with this? Back in 2005. If this would have aired instead of Rose. I would have passed on the show.

I really want to like this new season. The first two episodes were MEH. I miss the Sci Fi elements. I don't like the breaking of the fourth wall or the musical numbers. I felt it's losing dramatic direction. I will keep watching. Looking forward to next week's episode.

Keisha Castle Hughes (Emerie's VA) seems like the obvious pick for LA Omega and who they'll most likely go for.

The only questions I have left are 1) What happened to Echo? In the ending, Omega only tells Hunter to take care of Crosshair and Wrecker, so Echo is not on Pabu with them, and he also isn't seen with Rex, Wolffe, and Gregor in Rebels, so his fate is left up in the air. 2) Where is Cody? Did he go AWOL or did Rampart actually kill him offscreen? 3) How does Wolffe end up joining Rex's squad? Hopefully there is Rex spin-off or even just another short series called Tales of the Clones or something, let's make sure to let Disney know we want this!

I doubt this dumpster fire will have many people watching it anyway, I won't be.......I don't like streaming either, I prefer good ol TV or not at all. For those in the UK, they pay a licence just to have a TV, in deference to the original country audience who made the show as popular as it was, it needs to be in BBC free to air.

Not the biggest Ghostbusters fan but I enjoyed the movie well enough, even if it was a bit messy. The inclusion of the OG cast mixed with the new cast worked well and there was enough horror elements and comedic jokes that worked for me to walk out having had a good time. Great review.

In Australia when Doctor Who was on the ABC they did something similar to this. They would upload the episodes to their streaming service as soon as they aired in the UK and would usually air them that night.

Fact is though... this alleged 'new generation' they are so desperate to reach and wandering too, don't care. The past five years have proved that. You're also forgetting, we in the UK have to pay the TV licence. We contribute to the finances of this show. It should be on bbc1 first.

I’m sorry but if none of this new version of Justice League get an origin story for me to see their journey from how they started and how they became who they are in their coming of age … why should I care about them at all? They didn’t earn my attachment and it just feels souless being forced into an already established universe from the get go like we’re supposed to accept it. That’s the reason why it took me a while to accept and grow on Pattinson’s Batman and Tom Holland’s Spider-Man… I know nobody wants the original retold since they already know it… but it just feels weird with a random new face

The largest issue with the wilderness years in home media is that there just isn't enough detail in most of these things. There are several smaller documentary series on the dvds like The Doctor Forever!, Stripped in Action, and references here and there to other things but never anything quite descriptive, and I think a large reason for that is that the DVD range started during those wilderness years, and since it was current, making documentaries about your favorite show NOT being on would just be depressing, but time has passed, and now there are fans like me who never lived in it. It is a fourth of the time doctor who has existed and it deserves coverage.

I think a lot of people are trrying to claim that she was hard to work with on set / mean. But the actual crew seems to be denying that. It feels like a bit of fabricated drama to an extent.
