He understood everything about the maze on his own feet. He trusted Thomas, a newcomer, to lead everyone out of Greed. He was not daunted by months of torture. Minho is strong, caring, and sassy. He will always be my favorite character.

This is so emotional! I think this describes their relationship in the death cure really well since Newt was mad at Thomas for letting him down and blamed him for when he broke he leg and all the suffering he went through, but in the end they both made each others lives better just by being there for each other.
