XL2 flies long. I dunno why you can’t notice it but I do as a 6 hcp

You really have to take this course for what it is. In Phoenix to pay $30 to walk 18 in the winter is unheard of. Most of the greens and fairways are in pretty decent shape. The layout really allows you to stretch out your bag and use most of your clubs. A lot of the holes are placement holes that require some course management and decision making. If you can look past some of the superficial aesthetics, it's actually pretty fun. It allows me to afford golfing in the winter and keep my game sharp when most of the courses are $100++. It's just a good little practice track and not meant to be much more.

Thanks for coming out to Ramona and playing this course. As a member, I am truly blessed to live near and be part of a gem of a course like San Vicente. And it's okay that you pronounced it wrong, we will always welcome you back.

It arrived for me this week. Jury is still out for me, definitely an easy club to keep on the fairway, but so far it is giving up a lot of yards versus my Callaway Rogue. I hope to play with adjustments more, but seems to be 15 yards shorter current on standard settings.

Ironwood Golf Course. It was originally designed, built, and maintained for personal use by a gentleman and his wife. Upon his passing the wife opened it up to the public, wirh her and her son handling the day to day duties. I had heard that the son was now looking to sell and plow under the golf course. 30 years ago I would play there every 2 weeks with my Grandfather Lyle, and Great Uncle Tommy . I was a young Golf Pro at the time. Uncle Tommy had a brown bag in his golf bag. On each tee box we were all required to have a pull from uncle Tommy's brown bag. Fond memories of two very important men in my personal development. 😎✌️⛳️🏌‍♀️

It's sad to see the condition be so unattractive. It is a difficult time of year no doubt. The Foothills Executive Golf Course is an excellent designed track. Par 34, with 1 Par 5 and 3 Par 3s. There is actually a driving range open to players at the Foothills Par 3 course. But it is across the wash and must be traveled to by personal car. Hitting balls is best done before even checking in at the Executive Golf Shop. The same owners have a full sized golf course just 2 miles down the road, so there is challenging golf available for all skill levels.

I have the 7 wood and really like it! Definitely want to try this driver and definitely want to check out the wedges!
