Never do this this is an idiot 99% of the time the oil filter will rip off the bottom of the filter and then you will be really f***** don't do this get the proper tool and take it off the right way if you don't know how to take that off an oil filter don't watch a UA-cam video just go to the auto parts store and get the tool for it there are so many and it works so much better videos like this should be pulled down causes more problems for mechanics when they have to have the car towed in because they can't get the oil filter off because they ripped in half because they ran a screwdriver through it it's just stupidity

And 2.....for thinking its "an amazing idea". Get a filter wrench people...or at least 2wrenches and some rope/tow strap/or an old belt and twist😂😂😂😂

Guys I work with over tighten filters all the time so I started installing with a breaker bar. FTNG!

They sell oil filter sockets so you don't have to do dumb shit like this. You can even rent them if you don't plan to keep it. They're less than $20.
