Something simple but it solved the problem of 100% cpu usage in warzone in 2024 and the video is old anyway it helped a lot and of course it limits the power of the processor but it's better to play with a little less fps and with fluidity than with more fps and the game crashing due to cpu bottleneck, thank you very much for the video.

Did not work for me , CPU usage remained at 100% entire time in Pubg and there were also significant frame drops from mid 70s to mid 60 with stuttering remaining the same as before. My SPECS are -: CPU : Ryzen 5 3400g (stock cooler) GPU : ASUS RTX 2060 12Gb variant RAM : Dual channel 8 GB X2 3000 Mhz Game is running on a HDD.

Its a bit late but my cpu still operates at 100% even with the changes the video said to do. What should I do? I have a i7-9th gen and a 3060 gpu if that helps.

When I'm gaming my GPU usage is 100% and CPU usage is 60-70% but suddenly my GPU usage drops to 20-30% and CPU usage increases to 100%. This causes stuttering for 15-20 seconds and then it goes back normal for few minutes and again it stutters for few seconds. Any help please 🥺

a bit of a live saver. my i5 8400 6 cores was all the time on 100% usage while playing PUBG and performance was very bad and stuttery, but since I've adjusted these settings feels a bit more fluid and less laggy. thanks

Man cpu usage go down to 80 thanks for that but my game stuttering and fps from 60 are 26-46 please help and i will subscribe also i have ultimate performance and not high is this a problem?

All stutters gone on i5 7400 gtx 1060.

This is the only thing that worked for me. Still has frame drops but no where near as bad and gameplay feels smooth. Still dont think theres any reason I shouldnt be getting 239fps on a 9600k 2080ti. Currently capped at 179 for best performance.

I've been playing most of the games with stuttering, thought it was due to my low spec. After seeing others playing on same game with same graphic card, I started to doubt. However, really couldn't find any useful solution. Til 4 years later I founded this video. Thank u mate, u saved my gaming life. Smashing my laptop in my mind wont happen again. It usually came to my mind every time I try to shoot an enemy but stuttering made me missed those shots and got killed.

Hi. I still got problem with that sluttering in games. I got i7-9700f 16ram z390gamingX rtx3060ti and some games are just impossible to play... CPU usage is almost all the time about 100% and gpu is like 30-40%. Have no idea what to do. Any ideas?

Not sure if you are still seeing these comments but I tried this out and it DID actually stop my CPU from going up to 100% although I started getting less frames. I did minimum at 40% and max at 80% because I was getting annoying at it constantly being at 90%+. Could my min max settings be causing the lower frames or is it something else?

So i saw your Video from a reddit Post in the middle in the night an tested it. Goddamn it worked!! I have now about 50 degrees. I dont know What it changed even though i am not stupid with PCs. Take my like and sub you earned it!

after buying 3 different thermal pastes, this is the only solution that solved my utilization and temp problem! kudos my guy! from 85-91 gaming to 55-63!

when i click create a power plan it doesnt give me the option to do high performance its only on balance

I want you to know that I struggled with this problem for over 2 years and couldn’t get a fix and this instantly resolved it. I love you so much lol. (This fix is very much still prominent years later)

I have an older Razer blade laptop with i7-7700 and 1060 gpu. I bought a core and plugged up a 2070 super. The game ran like shit it’s only using 40% of the gpu and kept using 100% of the cpu. It would stop and stutter and all around was impossible to play. Your guide legit made it playable. For some reason the game still only uses 40% of my gpu and I can’t get over 60fps but it’s atleast playable now. So thank you for that!!! Your guide worked!!

What if I have the opposite problem. I keep getting random GPU spiked and hard disk spikes in warzone and it makes me stutter, freeze and lag. CPU is actually fine.

I am gpu bound and this still worked. My sapphire rx 480 is at 100%. Cpu is about 25%. Didnt think it would help, but it fixed all issues.

I followed this guide, and capped the CPU usage at 90%. It somehow still uses 100% CPU in of CPU1, and 0% of CPU2.

I don't have 100% CPU when gaming but in warzone my cpu speed is over 10ms often much higher. Is there a way to lower this?

THANK YOU SO MUCH! I thought the good times of my old i7-4770k (oc 4.2ghz) are over and hes not capable of doing well anymore with modern rtx gpu's but since i followed your guide "it seems" to finally fixing the issue I had (=micro hicups stutters) <3
