Make This Effective, All Natural Deodorant!
Make This Effective, All Natural, Food Based Deodorant!
And You Won't Stink!
Maybe you're like me, and have allergies to things like aluminum chlorhydrate, or perfumes, or even your own perspiration!
Or maybe you just want to stop contributing to the pile of plastic containers and applicators that find their way into the landfill everyday.
Or maybe you just want to be more self-dependent, even in the little things.
Whatever the reason, you can beat all the high priced "natural" deodorant manufacturers at their own game. Here is a simple, step by step recipe for diy, homemade deodorant that uses only readily available, cheap, natural and safe food based ingredients. And anyone can make it!
Here's the recipe in case you missed it in the video:
1/4 cup Cocoanut Oil
1/4 cup Baking Soda
2 Tablespoons Corn Starch.
mix it up and let it set at least overnight before applying a pea sized glob to the "offending" body part, and rub it in.
That's it! Hope you love it! "like", "share", and tell you friends to watch!

John 3:16 - Can religious tradition keep you out of Heaven?
Переглядів 617 місяців тому
John 3:16. It's on billboards, in football stadiums, on t-shirts. It's one of the first Bible verses we learn to recite. And yet, its spiritual importance still has been diminished by familiarity and tradition. Too many not-yet-believers still hold back from receiving Jesus because they think they're not good enough for God. Church elders tell people "you don't belong here". Theologians opine t...

    Just found your channel. Meatloaf is a staple for my household. It is simple and just plain good eating. I don't like anything but meat and seasoning in my meat loaf. I leave the onion sliced on the side. My meatloaf is 4lbs ground beef, 6 eggs, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. It stays together without the bread with extra eggs. I mix a small can of tomato paste and 1/4 cup of honey to caramelize on top. I line a bread pan with foil, wrap the formed meatloaf entirely, and remove it from the bread pan. I then poke holes in the bottom of the foil with a butter knife that allows the grease to flow out of the meatloaf and place it on a little steam rack. Foil a pan to catch the grease. I have also made this with ground lamb wrapped in bacon to change things up. It is unbelievably good. Simple meals are just better.

    Last year I got the ginger broilers from mcmurray, and some they called “Cornish roasters”. The roaster is not available this year because of avian flu and I don’t know what strain it was, but it was way better than regular jumbo cornishx, as far as health and legs, and they got really reallly big. The ginger broilers are an awesome free range meat chicken, I still have several of last years hens and a rooster, they make great layers too, and I’m gonna see what happens when I hatch the ginger eggs, I just set some today.

      My main meat chicken breeding pen has 2 dark Cornish roosters and 6 white rock hens, 4 barred rock hens, and soon 3 beilefelder hens. I don’t expect a chicken like a cornishx, but I’ll be very happy with a ginger broiler type bird. Big Steve the ginger rooster is huge, I wanna get him on a scale, he’s about a year old and very healthy and active

    How can two minutes with a half cup of warm water that you remove then pop the dough in the micro possibly stay consistently warm for 10 minutes let alone 60 minutes?? Hard to believe..

    • @geneeddleman2132
      @geneeddleman2132 6 місяців тому

      good question. the key here is not really consistent temps, although that would be nice. (If we had a commercial proofer that would be a no brainer, right?) What makes this work better than open atmosphere, or sitting on the open oven door is actually the increased consistency of the HUMIDITY because the dough is sealed inside an almost-air-tight chamber (microwave) and maintains its moisture longer. (-: And as a bonus, if there's an electromagnetic pulse due to the zombie apocolypse, your bread's circuitry won't get fried because the microwave is a fairly decent Faraday cage :-).

    Thanks for the video! With those fast growing breeds, it’s vital to weigh them every couple weeks and divide them up, or they will get to be all different sizes. The big operations split them into three groups: underweight, overweight, and just right. Don’t necessarily change the amount of feed per bird, just make sure the fatties are competing with each other and not the runts.

Mine also did not have the second blade, but upon researching the listing and the box it came in, I came to the conclusion that there were actually more than one listing for the same machine, at different price points. Of course I bought the cheaper one and discovered that it did not promise 2 blades - that was the higher priced one. Hope this helps.

(around 12 -13 weeks, 5 lb avg live weight) I'd recommend dressing them at 3 1/2 - 4 lbs to get more tender meat. But the flavor is wonderful. Actually tastes like the chicken we raised 60 years ago when I was a kid.

    So exactly how long is canned milk shelf stable?

    • @geneeddleman2132
      @geneeddleman2132 10 місяців тому

      It depends on who you ask. Some say 6 mos. max. Some say you shouldn't do it in the first place. But I just used a quart of it last week that was canned 3 years ago. It tasted a bit more like canned evaporated milk from the store (creamier) than fresh milk. And the milk solids (fat) had concentrated into tiny globules. This made the texture a bit weird for just drinking, but it was perfectly good for cooking or adding to coffee. No sour taste or smell, not curdled, all good. But that's not to say you should use it that long. (wink).

    Are those just golden comets that they’re calling Ginger broilers? Because I’ve got two golden comet hens who are not quite 6 months that grew up superfast, and they are heavy with meat on a diet of scratch grains, and 1/3 of their diet is layer pellets, and they’re not even free range. So I don’t know how they got so filled out. They are smarter and more tame than any of the other chickens. They look identical to these ginger broiler & are hybrids. I didn’t even have to train them and they learned how to get inside of a dog carrier on their own every night to come into the house and stay in my parrot cage because I had German Shepherds attack my coop and kill seven of my laying hens and the only reason those two didn’t get murdered is because they were in the house that night from an aggression by one of the australorps. And those two comets stay together all the time, and will cry if they get separated. So the wounded one spent the night in the house, and I brought her sister in so they would quit crying. And that night my coop got attacked and they killed every chicken. I also have a mated pair of speckled Sussexx that I’m breeding and incubating eggs now to raise for small baking chickens. I just got my first set of eggs into the incubator today. When I went to Europe, I had these small chickens that have white skin and light meat all over, and that’s the speckled Sussex. They are so tender the meat falls off the bone, just baking it. And it’s just me on the tiny homestead wanting to have unlimited cheap chicken to bake which is my favorite so I picked the Sussexx. But now you have me wanting to get one of these roosters to go with my two golden Comet hens because every time I pick them up, they just get heavier and it is not fat. They are some strong, active chickens that run around and actually enjoy chasing each other for fun and Keep very active in the run. They don’t get bored and they don’t fight any others. I swear they look identical to these you’re showing called Ginger broilers. When I purchased the chicks, it said golden sex link because they were assuring the buyer they were getting pullets. But later I found out that it’s golden comet and about three or four different other names. That’s why I ask. Is this just a golden comet they are calling by a different name to sell as meat birds? I’ve had Rhode Island, Australorp, leghorn, speckled Sussex, barred Plymouth Rock, and a grey hen I can’t remember the name, but none of them grow fast and heavy like the golden comet. They even started laying faster than the Australorps, with bigger eggs that have very thick shells. They almost have a chocolate brown egg of good size and they lay 4-5 eggs per week very steady. That’s as good as Australorp which is supposed to be the best layer. My Australorp hens that got killed took longer to start laying, they stayed smaller and weren’t maturing as fast, they were aggressive and flighty, plus their eggs were tiny, and I couldn’t understand why anyone said they were dual purpose meat/egg birds because there was no meat on them in the breast. I kept thinking it was just going to take longer, but I never saw it. I just got my incubator delivered today & started incubating the first speckled Sussexx but I also crossed golden comet with speckled Sussexx and have five eggs of theirs in there. I know when you Brea comment it’s not gonna come out like a comet so who knows what a Sussexx and a comet are gonna come out like. 😆🤞But now watching your video I want to know if those are the same as golden comet and which birds do I need to raise to hybrid those because I’m in love with my golden comets and I really think they’re the same thing. Good video thank you.

    • @geneeddleman2132
      @geneeddleman2132 11 місяців тому

      Hi! Thanks for your comments. It's my understanding that the Ginger Broilers are hybrids, developed by Murray McMurry hatcheries, altyough I'm pretty sure other hatcheries have a similar "slow hybrid" meat bird of their own that they call by different names. I still have 3 of these hens that I didn't get butchered in time and they have now joined my layers. As a followup: the Delawares check all the boxes on paper, but in real life I do have one complaint - their skin is so tough it's almost like eating plastic. Otherwise they're great, although I should have dressed them 2 weeks earlier. I'm thinking of getting a Buff Orpington Rooster to breed my buff hens. Cause even though they take longer to mature, they still have a very nice carcass, light skin, and are very hardy. And I'd like to see what comes from a Buff and Cinnamon Broiler cross. We'll see. Your mention of the Speckled Sussex has me intrigued. Hmmm...

      Thanks for your kind words! and please do try it. I think you'll love it! If the Borax bothers you, I'm sure the volume could be reduced without much change in the overall performance. One thing I've realized since I made the video is the white Zote has a mild citranella scent. Very fresh and herbal.

    The American Buff Orpington is no longer a good dual purpose bird. The breeding stock has gone to crap since it fell out of favor as dual purpose. It also almost hit the endangered species list. It would take a long time and some very selective breeding to get them back to their dual purpose origins. I contemplated looking into getting some European stock since they were maintained overseas, but decided against it. Their meat is not that great IMO. I've stuck with freedom rangers, but I'll be working on an American Bresse cross here soon. I'll be crossing male ABs with Freedom Rangers; I have 3 20 week old hens; 10-12lbs and 4 Breese roos; 2 @ 19 weeks and 2 @ 10. Should be interesting to see what happens with the offspring.

      post - processing report: I should have butchered my Delawares a week or 2 earlier. They are a more solid flesh than Cornish X so it can get a bit chewy for fryers if they're overly mature. Taste is amazing! But the biggest con for me is that the skin was like leather. Not real appetizing. I've had to give up my breeding project though due to other committments. your cross sounds very interesting. Keep us posted.

    First and foremost, if you're buying your milk from the grocery store where it has already been pastorized, you don't have to worry about Botulism. The processing plant has already taken care of that problem, through the pastorization process. If it was fresh milk directly from the farm, then you would need to worry about your botulism. You would have to take those extra precautions during the canning process.

      I'm sorry, it's been a while and I didn't write it down. But honestly, I just built it by the seat of my pants. After I got the ridge pole up in place, I just measured from it down to the square on each one. I had to measure each one because the boards were so warped, they were all a different length! lol!

    Great video. BUT - Check the temperature your dishwasher actually gets to. Mine is only a few years old and it only gets to 155-160 degrees. I was shocked to learn that, so now I sterilize my jars in the oven for 30 minutes at 225 degrees. That will kill any germs. Great dry, vacuum canning. Your pressure canner automatically kills bacteria due to the temperature in it. That was a game changer for me.

    • @geneeddleman2132
      @geneeddleman2132 11 місяців тому

      I'm not sure if there is a good substitute or not, but I've come to believe that the amount is not that critical if you'd like to reduce the Borax due to skin sensitivity, etc. The main ingredient here is the soap. Zote was developed to be a laundry soap all by itself. The traditional use was to use it directly on the clothes while scrubbing them on the old washboard, Or shaving off some soap from the bar and throwing that in the washer tub to dissolve and go to work. The Borax and washing soda are basically for lighteners and boosters. Hope this helps.

    Man doing murder in the name of God has and will always killing more people than anything else combined. God wants us to to have a one on one relationship with him! STAY THE HELL OUT OF THE HEALTH CARE OF WOMEN! Blessings.

    • @geneeddleman2132
      @geneeddleman2132 10 місяців тому

      "health care of women" indicates the use of medical practices to save the life of the woman in question. This is VERY seldom the case in abortions. If you want to talk about the actual health care - or life saving care - of women, then you should by any practical standard, be pro-life. I mean, after all, half of the babies killed by abortion, just because they are inconvenient, are actually female. Shouldn't "women's health care" extend to the women that the abortionists are murdering? And if you truly do have - or seek to have - a one on one relationship with the God of creation, how can you justify destroying the crowning jewel of His creation?
