Kolkata is a comparatively safer place and every year there are plenty of students from all over India, both North and South. The place around the campus is good too and I am sure she'll feel comfortable in a month or two

A few of the stationaries needed in the first sem for bft Students are L scale, T scale, normal big scale, wooden board, the sect triangles of geometry box, pattern papers (available in nift shop), measuring tape, draping pins, hip curve and other stitching things in second sem

@@yugagarwal1765 hi, I studied at BRDS, Kolkata and it was the best decision ever because they guide you from starting till the end. You can join even in july this year so please check them out on google or maybe visit brds Kolkata which is in maidan

Di what is in jury? And how many days it will conducted and it's result declared?
Jury is basically final examinations at the end of each sem. We sometimes get time between the juries and sometimes it's one after another. The results are mostly declared in the next month following the jury

You can opt for a coaching to prepare for the entrance or do it by yourself by doing your research and watching youtube videos that will help you prepare ✨
Ohk but after preparing how I apply for exam?
There is online registration form that appears on nift.ac.in (the official website of nift) during Nov-Dec and the exams usually happen in Feb next year

We would like to go with Life style and accessories design. Hows kolkata campus.
The faculty is quite experienced and knowledgeable. Plus this particular department has good demand and good placements
How's the infrastructure, campus in Kolkata. My daughter has a good rank and we are waiting for more details to choose campus.
The campus of Nift Kolkata is small and the infrastructure is old but it keep developing every year with minor changes here and there. It's very green too
Also didi does the placement and salary differ too much in future if I take leather design?
Leather design has a good scope but again nift placements aren't best
