Wayfinder Unleashed
United States
Приєднався 18 жов 2018
Wayfinder Unleashed is all about challenging oneself and motivating others to push themselves a little outside their comfort zones. My husband Ray and I currently live in Seattle Washington but love exploring new places and cultures. Join us as we embrace travel and other unique experiences and opportunities to both learn new things and challenge our current perspectives.
Ray and I try to incorporate this "embracing life" mindset into everything we do, including starting this vlog. It is not easy to talk to a camera out in public or learn to edit videos but we took it as a way to challenge our outlook on self confidence...and I've already discovered I love editing, too!
Please consider subscribing to my channel. It may be small right now but we are enjoying every minute of the journey.

48 hours exploring the Amazing Milford Sound: It was more than we expected!
I feel like people are over focused on food. I want to come to alaska but if i ate nothing but oats and apples id be happy and save a ton of cash. I don't drink coffee or alcohol. So that makes things easier.
Wow, Talkeetna has grown a little bit in the last 20 years.
could you please share the link of the airbnb? i stayed here with my family 5 years ago! and i wish to go again!
What brand is that hat? Is it packable or did you wear it on the flights? I’m having such a hard time finding a decent looking packable sun hat! ❤
The first time i went up in the arch 1973, we were in like open squirrel cages holding only 2 people, it was fairly dark. You could see the inside walls, wiring and bare light bulbs. I was 14 and thought it was scary. Going ip, as the arch curved the cages would stop, jerk, and sway to get set then start again. The cage did this often until we finally got to the top. Years later i returned and was relieved to see 5 seats on an elevator, much nicer ride 😂
Mom and stepdad had a cliffside home in pt ludlow I just can't deal with that. You'd also love anacortes Try ramen bowls with creamed soup, soy sauce, sesame oil, french noodles added also its very good meal
en iyisi
Thank you!! Planning my trip now
I grew up in SE Alaska and enjoyed your adventure. I was happily surprised to discover that y'all took a train to get there! Talkeetna is on my bucket list and the constant drizzle you experienced reminds me of home. Thanks for sharing, and enjoy your adventures!😁
Love your vlogs! I've started my own vlog channel too and just got back from a little trip going to monterey, carmel, point lobos and big sur!! such a beautiful place!
Is there a fun place to go and experience in St. Louis that a lot of people don’t know about?
I’m excited to see the restaurants you ate at. My family and I visited STL recently and ate at many great restaurants while there. We would love to try new places when we go back.
Pappy's, bogarts, or super smokers. Sugarfire mid af.
Wow, that hike!!! I loved how the clouds were mixed in with the mountains and the lake color! The yak burger made me want to yak. Jk ;) the pizza place looked good! I’m partial to anything with Moose in the name haha. You didn’t comment on the chorizo one so was the apricot/carrot/cream cheese the winner? Brian said he would try it. I do think I want to try adding apricots to the next pizza we make. Excellent as always! Brian wanted to know how Ray kept the camera so steady until the end :) he also said that it’s impressive you can wiggle all of your toes (he cannot).
You would definitely like that hike! And yes I agree. I feel like the clouds kind of added to the mystery. You should definitely try adding apricots to your pizza, even carrots!! It was so good. Ray is definitely accommodating with the camera, even when it’s cold. Since it’s definitely more my thing though I don’t get very many do-overs (I don’t want to take up his vacation time) but I feel like it can add some humor on occasion! Also I didn’t realize wiggling toes was something not everyone could do! Ray and I can both do it.
Definitely pizza that people have to try! The hike was also top notch
That pizza joint Sauce on the Side looks absolutely amazing 😋
Pinch the tail when eating shrimp.
I was there this weekend, it’s beautiful!
It’s defiantly a nice service, very scenic and a pleasure to ride on. I took it once back in 2015-16 ish and hope to do it again sometime this year.
And I quote SNL, "Girl....the back of yo head looks ridiculous!"
What's the name of the trail?
That's really me in this video ....
This is so much fun!! That's awesome you're from St. Louis!
Where did you stay
Big Sur is unfamous in Japan. So Japanese travel beuroues should introduce there more, not only Disneyland.

Glad you loved out little town ! Great review !
amazing editing work, lovely vlog.
I didn’t realize I missed this one! Ahhh. Forced to talk haha. I want to go! Alaska is just so pretty. How many football fields is 6 million acres?
Soooo many haha.
The blonde hair!! Was the poke bowl better or worse than the pickle pizza? Also, I really enjoyed all of your commentary. And I would be curious to try birch water and meet a cat mayor
Better overall for sure. :) Pickle pizza was a one and done situation.
Awesome to see you still traveling the world! Alaska’s on my bucket list, hope the rest of your trip is a blast :)
Hey Kevin! We loved Alaska, it definitely should remain at the top of your bucket list.
Love that small town, it looks adorable
I didn’t vote for that cat 🐈 #notmymayor
You know I did! ;)
River looks swole though
Was the droid room in every day or just one day
Great vid! What I’ve learned over various backpacking trips is that less is more. Bring clothes you can just put on- don’t have to coordinate. A couple sweaters, max 5-6 shirts and I will likely only wear 4-5 honestly, bottoms- shorts to pants depending on destination, a few underwear/ socks. I’ve brought a scrubba bag to wash clothes. One swimsuit. Roll your clothes to save space and less wrinkles. A small dry sack for toiletries. TSA approved shampoo bottles for carry on. Keep important documents and electronics together in one bag. If your going to Europe- other countries too, there’s lots of stairs so a backpack is much easier. Refillable bottle. Max 3 pairs of footwear. Sandals (great for hostel showers), comfy runners and hikers (if needed) or another pair of sneakers. Pack towels- they dry quickly and save space.
Awesome presentation Me and my family visited many years ago

I want to go there! I had no clue it was so huge! And also didn’t know it was mostly just wild. Ray is quite the expert on flowers.
Denali National Park really is stunning, and worth the visit. The bus tour also makes it so easy to relax and enjoy the beauty.
I can't believe I hadn't watched this one yet!!! It was great as usual!!!! 🙌 You definitely need to wear a go pro now at all times to catch any and all beaver sightings! Lol Loved the reindeer, going to have to re watch it when Levi gets up from his nap so he can see them! He loves your videos too! 💖 Thank you guys for sharing about your trip! Feels like I just went on a mini vacation! 💕
She’s hot!!
Love a packing video! I would never fit this much in a carry on. What make/model is this, looks like Away?
Note too, that whatever you use up in the way of toiletries, you can use the extra space for souvenirs to bring home!
Very good point!
Keep talking, I like hearing your voice 🤭
