The two greatest cowboys in my young life were Robert Horton and Peter Brown who could ride horses like they were one being. I miss the great shows like both this one and Wagon Train. Thank you
I still watch Wagon Train. Still enjoy it and of course Flint!
I Only Watched Wagon Train If Robert Horton Was On There, He Made The Show!!
I love watching this, so happy I found it. I watch Wagon Train everyday just to see him. He appeared in 5 episodes of Alfred Hitchcock Presents if you like AH.
His parents seem "stuffy" and he seems to love his Nanny the most.
I loved this show. There's nothing like it today, that's for sure. The Westerns were such a part of my growing up. It was a time that can't be duplicated and I sure miss those days.
Talented, handsome actor who probably should never have quit wagon train , he was perfect for Westerns. Would have been good in the " Searchers".
we adored him, great guy....
I was always a fan of Wagon Train and they are still showing reruns that I get everyday. Great acting by Robert Horton on the show and I am delighted to see what a good man he was in real life. He lived a wonderful life and living into his 90's was a blessing for those who were his friends. I am 76 currently and hope to live that long as my health holds up for me. His comment to his mother "You look wonderful" could not have been a better comment. Thank you for posting this tribute to him.
AM relatively new fan of Robert Horton from Wagon Train, and other appearances. What a multi-talented "delicious hunk"!!! Unfortunately, didn't get 2 c much of u in color, so I didn't really c your red hair, or the color of your eyes, but, no worries. Your talent speaks 4 u and itself!!! Not always easy 2 find an episode of "Wagon Train" with u in it, but when I DO get 1, U R "my date" 4 the 1 or 2 hours that I'm fortunate 2 b able 2 see you. VERY SADDENED 2 HEAR OF YOUR PASSING!!! WHAT A LONG, GREAT LIFE U HAD!!! R I P, AND THANK U 4 EVERYTHING!!! ILY!!!
He was simply Gorgeous.
That's kinda dangerous isn't it? What if he had came to the door packing a 45? LoL!
Still a good looking man

His marriage to Marilyn was his last and most successful marriage.
She wasn't too nice in the end tho😰
Loved Robert Horton Wagon Train one of my all time favorites. Such a gracious man. Sad ending
@@cindygish9064 What did she do? From all accounts, the marriage was solid.
La voz que lo doblo al castellano es mucho mejor q la de el....mucho mas varonil
Lovely memories of childhood. All thr girls at school wanted him as their boy friend
Solid career but Bob deserved to be bigger, I saw him around town many times, most people didn't recognize him
Oh my gosh, what a man! I love watching him on the screen, wish i knew he was such a great singer before all these years went by, so thank God for "You Tube" love to him wherever he is. Priscilla
He was such a handsome and kind man. I loved it when he said, "Mother, you look magnificent". What a wonderful and loving son he was. I had a crush on him when I was younger and I saw him in Portobello Road, London. I was over the moon. I've been watching the re-runs of Wagon Train, but only the ones with him in it. He was incredibly sexy too.
Amazing in those days to have a black woman that took care of this dude and you can tell he love her. You can’t tell me this racist bullshit time that we living in can’t be fixed. God is good all the time. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
He paid her more attention than he did to his own mother.
This looks like Video tape. Film has better quality on these early programs.
No i hope he aint dead
Tara Workman sadly he passed away in March 2016 aged 91 😢
ROBERT HORTON I APPRECIATE YOUR ROLL ON WAGON TRAIN I WATCH YOU ON WAGON TRAIN AS FLINT MCCULLOUGH LOVE THE EPISODE THANKS FOR THAT'S REST IN PEACE❤
He appeared in a 1954 The Lone Ranger episode.
This is probably almost most favorite Western TV show ever watched maybe it is and he was a special part I watch the reruns today and I'm 68 and real gentleman real people which or not in great population today maybe just a blessing
Me too! Wagon Train had such great story plots. He was a great actor and another favorite followed him, Robert Fuller. Also 68. I think I appreciate the old westerns more today.
he looks like his mom
He also did all his own riding and stunt work .A great actor in a great series .he was a good singer as well.
His own stunt work? Did not know that.
I too had the honor of meeting him backstage on Broadway's 110 In the Shade. At age 11 I had such a crush on him. I wrote I was coming to the play and he wrote me back inviting my mom and I backstage after the performance.
I envy you... I love Robert Horton
I saw him singing at the Fiesta Night Club in Norton , Teeside , Northeast England in the 70's
Assumedly a great Singer and Actor... One of the most handsome television actors for sure.
I had the honor of meeting him in 1964 while he was starring on Broadway in '110 in the Shade'.
So many lovely memories of sitting round our 12 inch black and white telly on Monday evenings in the late fifties with my mom, nan and aunt to watch Wagon Train. For a young lad Flint Mcollough was a hero and how good it is to see that he seemed to be a genuinely lovely man. Thanks for the memories and RIP Robert.
As far as I know he never had children, he was married three times! He seemed like a nice man! RIP!
This was TAPED ON January 18, 1961.....and was telecast the following Sunday, January 22nd.
It didn't say how he came to ride horses or if he had children !
I remember wagon train I believe Robert Hortons character was very important to the show the episodes all had a moral
That's when tv had good clean christian values! Left evil has infiltrated in. Sad
One of my favorite television actors. RIP.
SOOO handsome and such a natural exuding sexiness with his voice, expressions and mannerisms and walk.. and he was a good actor, good singer and a decent man.. turns 92 years old here in 2016!..
Unfortunately, he died before his 92nd birthday.
I agree with From Flamingo. He's still a dad image to me and I love him
Fantastic to see this, the most handsome man ever. Love him. Thank you for putting this on YT
