On November 2nd, 2024, the stunning shores of Kadriye Beach in Antalya, Turkey, came alive with the energy and determination of thousands of athletes from around the world, ready to conquer the Ironman 70.3!
For those new to the sport, the Ironman 70.3 is a half-Ironman triathlon, featuring:
🏊 **1.9 km Swim**
🚴 **90 km Bike**
🏃 **21.1 km Run**
A true test of endurance, skill, and heart, all completed in one unforgettable day.
The weekend kicked off with the *Parade of Legends,* a unique opportunity for athletes to experience the magic of the Land of Legends venue. This breathtaking walk culminated in a spectacular opening ceremony that set the tone for an incredible event.
Saturday welcomed the IronKids, with young athletes running age-appropriate distances, inspiring everyone with their energy and passion for the sport.
Sunday brought race day, blessed with perfect weather conditions for athletes to give their best. A brand-new finish line at the foot of the majestic Château at the Land of Legends provided the ultimate backdrop for an emotional and triumphant finish.
As an Announcer, this race holds a special place in my heart, and the 2024 edition was truly one of the best yet. The atmosphere, the athletes, and the breathtaking location combined to create memories that will last a lifetime.
