Hi there! I saw you used 5W30 but I think Opel recomended to use 0w20 grade oil, specification OPEL OV0401547, due to the faulty tensioner. This is made to correct the engine noise while starting. Anyway, very nice video.

I have a grinding/squealing noise coming from the DSG Transmission only in Drive and Reverse. There is virtually no creep from idle to moving and a harsh engagement of first, will sometimes slip and have a hard shift from 1 to 2nd gear. I did the DSG service hoping the fresh fluid would change it. No faults in the mechatronic. I think it is fluid pressure related and possibly the trans oil pump starved or worn out. Will be checking the pressure and the exact source of the noise as well as a DSG adaptaion. Wondering if you ever ran into this type of complaint.

Very impressed with your skills. I wish you were in England. This video only was enough for me to trust you with my gearbox! Unfortunately my Audi A4 b9 manual transmission is having a faulty bearing noise also I think. It’s noticeable from 2nd to 6th gear. When I press the clutch is gone. Neutral is gone. Low rpm on cruise control is almost gone. As soon I just touch the accelerator the is coming back. I changed my transmission fluid today. Inside was less than a litre. Only took about 1.8 litre of the new fluid. Noise still there after the change.
