I know what your saying Hospice does help with that. But I feel it shortens life, and speeds up the Persons perception of time Through sedation. I wouldn't Want anything, to take away From the short time you have Left. It's better to suffer if your Dieing, it helps you fight for every Second you can get. Trust me In saying anything is better than The void. life is a gift you should Remember that, because anything Is better than what death offers. Death will come for all things, there's no need to sprint to it.

My mother died in hospice in a facility. I was alone with her for the last 14 hours of her life. I watched her die thirsty and no one ever turned her over to prevent or ease bed sores. Every now and then a nurse would come in and put a shot of morphine into her mouth. They continued to take her blood pressure when it was clear from her little squeeks that it hurt her. They said they were only following doctor's orders. I said, "Here's an order for you, ypu're not doing that anymore". The hospice RN told me there were ways around that. All in all, it was a horrible experience. I have kidney disease. What you said sounds nice, but my own experience was nothing that will interest me in going into hospice myself. Thanks, but no thanks.

I was really looking forward to watching your video, as I am finally entering stage V, (after refusing dialysis for years); I am currently refusing Hospice as well. But audio was so horrible, (echo, volume extremes, etc), I could barely understand most that was being said, so just gave up.

My friend is taking care of someone with Hospice who never started dialyis, Hospice is not there round the clock in this time. Patient is sleeping a lot, swelling, irregular breathing, I wanted info on physical signs of actual death beginning so my friend would know what to look for. Example her feet are darker. There are no videos describing these events ans I know your job is to keep that from the family until the moment is approaching. However my friend is alone. How will she know when to get them in there?

Hands and feet cold for no apparent reason, darkening around the eyes. Just some tips I can give from recent personal experience. The most important thing is to have a relationship with Jesus then when the time comes you know its only a change of address and we will meet one day.. and be happy eternally.
