ABOUT: Monica Speach
Monica Speach is the author of the PACE curriculum (the Program for Achieving Character Education). PACE focuses on learning about 10 virtues through the use of classic literature, the Bible, and the study of heroes. One of Monica’s heroes is Saint Frances Xavier Cabrini, whom she has studied extensively. She is particularly drawn to the Saint’s work as they share an Italian heritage and a passion for teaching English as a Second Language. Monica recently initiated an ESL program in the diocese of Allentown, PA., where she teaches English to adult immigrants from South and Central America.
