Here's latest information: things are starting to come together finally in 2024 3 singles coming next couple months Virtue's Cure will be 1st full record will follow shortly after the 3 singles self-indulgent remix / covers companion record will follow that Jeff is a perfectionist though and there has been stuff like moving houses etc. So I have no idea. Might be next year. Let's just be patient. Music production takes it's time. "the more exposure / traffic JLJ gets - the more I will feel it is worth while to focus on doing more" So spread the word while waiting!

Got an update from Jeff today: Yeah I have been slow a little Very soon though Single very soon and record is getting filled in as well I just want to feel 100% about it

I could appeal but I don't care to go through the trouble. I could also just reupload the songs without the image, but the songs are available on Jeff's channel so I don't feel the need for them to be reuploaded here. They were from a time when there was no JLJ content anywhere on UA-cam other than Escape From Paradise and the full album, that actually inspired me to create this channel. That video also contains the image so I bet it will be taken down too.

Spread the word! JLJ is so obscure. I've been sharing JLJ songs on Reddit whenever some NIN fan wanted new music to listen

JLJ was heavily inspired by NIN, you can see it in their music and even logo. Singer Jeff Wambolt was just 18-21 years old at the time. 15-16 when he started working on first album. Definitely some amazing music from the 90's. Spread the Word! New single will be coming at some point

He hates it because he can't replicate it live without playing to loops. And playing to loops is for less dignified songwriters.

He did it live not so long ago, also they released official music-video in good quality. I believe he knows its a banger. Maybe the drug part is not so pleasant for him to sing about 🤷🏼‍♂️

IIRC he said the main things he didn't like about it were that it he felt it was rushed/made too quickly, it's the song of his that used/showed the most outside influence (he was listening to a lotta DnB and jungle at the time), and that the music video was too much. I don't think he ever said that he thinks it's a bad song, I'm guessing he's just a bit insecure about it because he didn't get to flex his perfectionism on it at the time like all his other work.
