This clock has the 1161 movement which was made from 1986 to 1987 I do believe. This sounds amazing and I wish I could buy it now that I am starting to know more than 10 years ago.

When I bought our first clock, Ridgeway grandmother, at a garage sale, I added a few night light bulbs so the clock would look warm and inviting and also light our dark entryvay. To a triple-chime grandfather clock bought at Goodwill, I added four night light bulbs in the clock box and one to lighthe pendulum. How is the pendulum light powered? Here, I would have a bluish white LED to make the moon appear more "lunar". But may not go well withe yellow moon material.

I have a similar clock but its a 9 tube... i just inherited from my grandpas estate it was made in 1990. How much do you think its current value is?

it was great until i heard the howard miller tone. it's just how every single grandfather clock made after, say, 1986 or something, uses the exact same chime bar. there's no uniqueness in it, it's become so repetitive and i'd like to hear something different in a new clock.

I feel like this is the exact clock that appeared in some DogLover2113 videos back in 2007, it has that exact same out of tune 7th rod on the chime bar.

I have a Pearl Rittenhouse GF clock. The chime weights are stuck. It keeps perfect time. All videos show removing the back cover board. This one is screwed behind the face plate and I don't want to unscrew without instruction. Can someone assist?
