During my time in Uganda, even though the country had begun facing significant challenges, the moral fabric had not yet deteriorated to this alarming extent. The wounds from the two decades of war, both physical and psychological, still linger, affecting decision-making and fostering a culture of impunity. Soon, I aspire to play a role in guiding the nation back toward its core principles of justice, integrity, and unity, helping to foster a society where such acts of corruption and destruction are no longer tolerated. The journey will be challenging, especially given the long-lasting effects of trauma and conflict that have ravaged these souls. But I believe that with collective effort and a focus on healing, the Acholi people can regain their dignity, addressing both the war’s aftermath and the moral rot that has set in. Together, we can create a future of opportunity, fairness, and peace for all...
