My daughter's Boston (age 5 first time mama) just gave birth last night. First two stillborn and 3 live puppies. All good so far.

She’s doing a great job of tending her babies! Those precious little babies just melt my heart. When I was a kid, a family friend gave us a Boston, he even came with papers! This was back in the 60’s, mind you, but I loved that dog so much. I’m not sure how old he was when we got him, but he was an adult. I was too young to really understand, and I don’t know the circumstances that brought him to us, but he lived a long time. He loved taking naps, and snored loud enough to raise the roof!! This video brings back some lovely childhood memories, so I thank you for sharing. I would love to have one if I could! ❤

Have you checked Candi's temperature? Heating pad plus nursing 8 babies can make her hot. But she is gulping alot of water. Dissolve 1 tsp table salt and 1 top plain sugar in a quart of water, (warm) then cool it and feed it to her. Quick, simple electrolyte balance. Babies are growing fast--and they look strong. Beautiful!
