Thanks specifically for the fuser teardown instructions. HP doesn't want us to actually repair fusers. With your help i managed to replace a torn preassure roller (orangy thing) and now it prints like new. Cheers.

Thanks for this extremely useful video. I was about to bin my SCX3205W for this very problem, but thought I'd give the repair a try after finding your channel. I found I didnt have to do as much dismantling...just removed the left hand panel. Solenoid was really sticky...I replaced the black patch with a piece of heat transfer rubber for a TO220 transistor mounting kit...now works like new. No screws left over! Thank you!

How on earth could you disconnect the dev. Unit connecter, it is tightly connected there and wires might be damaged if forced.

New model and basically you have to open up the whole printer. Older model you could remove it without touching any other parts

Best repair video ever! Thanks. I could fix my printer Samsung Xpress C460W based on this video. Almost all parts are same, only difference was that my printer did not have the ethernet panel, which is on this video, but all the rest was the same. I did not need to stick a pencil eraser, as in the video, but I could stick the same rubber back, as was there. My problem was that the rubber was slightly wrong positioned. After I positioned and sticked the rubber more to the side as it is in this video, that fixed the issue.

Nunca compren impresoras HP tiene una politica dictatorial con sus torner ya que con una actualizacion que hicieron a todas su impresoras ya no pueden usar otras marcas ni volverlos a reulilizar y no compren este modelo yo lo tengo y es muy dificil de manipular, cuando se traba un papel en mi caso ya no la he podido usar para imprimir solo escanerar , pero no es lo mismo asi que ya saben no compren Hp e indaguen cuando quieran comprar una impresora laser multiuso .

What happens if both cuts on the wheels do not match? Engine problem?

Very similiar procedure to the M281 HP printer. I just used this video for that printer.

I watched this film and it didn't help me but I'll leave some info for someone who probably encounters same problem. No foreign object - grinding noise on start and constant paper jam near OPC shaft in the cartridge. Usually people recommend swapping whole paper feed assy RM2-5715 because it has motor in it and that's expensive. That printer had 227k pages printed, whole gears in assembly were fine except the gear on motor RK2-7103 which is made from very soft metal, all teeth stripped, you can damage it even with screwdriver, very soft. I have replaced it with gear from motor of some konica minolta made of magnesium alloy - way harder than what HP used here, had same teeth profile and overall dimensions, could be pressed on the original RK2-7103 motor and aligned. Printer works.

Thank you very much for this video. This was very helpful to repair the fuser assembly on my M280nw printer (needing fuser film replacement). There were some minor differences but they didn't matter for the assembly/disassembly process. Information like in this video is very valuable, as official service information on the newer HP printers seems to be very difficult to find (as are spare parts).
