    Is the gunsmith adaptor 'blind', or is there a hole in the base? the reason I ask is because I have limited space within my stock to forstner out a hole. Ideally I'd like to use the hole that is already in the stock that has the bolt used to secure the stock to the action.

    • @SalamanderTac
      @SalamanderTac 2 роки тому

      Hi! No the gunsmith adapter is blind, there is no hole through it. The magnet sits in the bottom of the adapter. You can check out other alternatives on www.salamandertactical.com

    I'm getting this beautiful little MARCH scope for my 6.5 Creedmoor Browning X-Bolt Pro (CF stock). The rifle is a 6 lb. 1 oz.light weight "mountain rifle". I looked at the much more expensive SAKO 85 Carbonlight side-by-side with the Browning X-Bolt Pro and felt the Browning had more to offer at the same quality. Evidently the Japanese workers at Miroku make rifles of the same quality as the Finnish workers at SAKO. Browning rifles are noted for being very accurate. My ,.300 Win. mag. Browning A-Bolt shoots 3/4 minute of angle (3/4" groups at 100 yards!) The MARCH scopes are 'spensive but worth every penny. One other good-for-the-money scope is Tract. Their 4 - 20 x 50 FFP Toric model is amazing for US $1,200. Schott glass and excellent turret reliability. Plus lifetime warranty, unlike MARCH;s 5 year warranty.

    Can i fit a harris bipod to blaser R8 using your picatinny rail? I guess I will have to use an adapter between the picatinny and the harris as well.

    • @SalamanderTac
      @SalamanderTac 7 років тому

      Hi, I would not reccomend it, I belive it will be bulky, and the design is made for Versapod, Neopod and Atlas via the picatinny. I would suggest that you take a look at one of those options instead at vertebrae.no/bipods-and-mounts.html Thanks for posting !
