The last time I could not get out to camp was spring of last year. Thanks for sharing your experiences with me. I retire in March next year. By God's grace and provision, I plan to hit the backpacking scene hot & heavy. Thanks again for sharing. It helps take the edge off.

I can't tell if that's a designated site, but just because others have obviously camped there before doesn't make it so. Please remember DCNR Rules: "All camping must be at least 200 feet from any stream or other open water source." I can tell you really love the outdoors and newbies will learn from you and follow your example, so please set a good example.
