I'm starting to wonder if Sonny can't tune an engine with that guitar...he seems able to do anything else with it.

Bach once happened to sit at a fortepiano, played a few chords, and declared that he didn't like that instrument at all. Which means that he wrote his scores precisely for the instruments he had in mind, and wanted them to be played with those instruments. And I agree with him, even though his music is to such a point absolute that it might be played even with an ocarine or a pan flute.
