Love this song. J’adore cette chanson 🇨🇦⚜️
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻❤❤❤
Wachet auf(, ruft uns die Stimme) *is* the cantata, the piece is called Zion hört (die Wächter singen).
how beautiful! just love it thank you❤⚘
I probably would have preferred a little different voicing in the first 2mjnutes, but at the 2:00 mark he starts making choices that are now living rent free in my head
I just found this song....im watching the nerd Avgn playing Friday the 13th for the commoder 64 and this song is there wow
This just didn't work.
This comments' section has more languages than a UN session. These kids deserve the international admiration of course.

Just one little thing ...i am not sure to have understood all the full joke😢 so if you don't mind speak in French with your so cute accent.😊😊. Have a nice day... I have to practize my English 😂😂
Masterpiece!
Meraviglioso!
I’m playing Violin but I can’t play Vivaldi perfect 😭😭
I'm starting to wonder if Sonny can't tune an engine with that guitar...he seems able to do anything else with it.
Bach once happened to sit at a fortepiano, played a few chords, and declared that he didn't like that instrument at all. Which means that he wrote his scores precisely for the instruments he had in mind, and wanted them to be played with those instruments. And I agree with him, even though his music is to such a point absolute that it might be played even with an ocarine or a pan flute.
nice try
A Frankenstein-type experiment. But they didn't create a creature out of dead material. They dismembered a living thing to create a monster.
A great player, no doubt, and a lovely piece for sure, but am I the only one out there who thinks it sounds a bit silly?
I do agree with you. it sounds silly, and grotesque as well.
@@riccardoriccardi6986 Ok, we might be the only two, but at least we're not alone🙃
Good... But they are teaching baroque using the romanticism style, which drastically throws baroque sound away...
@@albertoclaudiocantarutti6490 Excelente! Que bueno que te hayas dado cuenta. Yo quisiera escuchar esa radio transmisión
This is as gorgeous as it is unexpected!
❤❤❤

Bravo!!!
This would have been up Jeff Beck's alley - but I did not expect it from Sonny. One master interpreting another. Beautiful.
gotta agree with you- Landreth deserves more recognition, he's a bad boy!
merveilleux
E' meraviglioso vedere quanta consapevolezza illumina i volti di questi bambini !
Sounds like Jeff Beck
Amazing bravo😊😊😊❤❤❤
knocked my socks off! Sonny is *awesome*
just breathtaking! Sonny is one of a few great people and player!
Fantástico, extraordinário. 👏👏👏👏
Ameiiiiii ❤❤❤❤❤
(not really) funny how the arrangement mostly omits the chorale melody, i.e. what the tenors sing.
Fabulous arrangement! I'd love to hear it in the original Eb 👏👏👏

Once I overcame the cognitive dissonance of an electric slide solo alongside Bach's church music I was blown away! Would love to hear more musicians take on this challenge. Go Sonny!
Young people doing and playing vivaldi doing a great job keep doing what you are doing if you stop now when you get older you would regret it I was one of you guys long ago and stop now I am 80 years old I am taking a lesson now for my own engagement good luck to all of you.
The slide guitar ruins it - straight notes would have been so much nicer.
Bach #1
I'm a long time fan of Mr Landreth, but it's painful to hear him from the opening guitar notes. It just doesn't work for me.
Felicitaciones!
So gooooooooooooooooood ! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Wow felicidades a los musicos
