Great video Joe I've been apprehensive about launching from New Brighton as never launched myself (always been tractor launched)... but getting mine out this Saturday hopefully. Saw someone mention kill cord but more importantly "bung in" 👍

Class mate live fishing the Mersey haven’t been in nearly five years since a lost me cousin Alan birch me fishing partner 😢 so a think it’s time to get back on the rods I’ve been collecting up some new gear after Xmas I will be back at sea hopefully next year I can invest in a boat again too but I’ll start me self back up on fishing of the piers and beach for now ❤

You can’t beat the Mersey for a bit of sea fishing I’ve only fished 4 marks on the river but never targeted smoothhounds on the Mersey what mark was you fishing it looks decent

Subbed up great vid tbh I live in Birkenhead North (from Bromborough) used to fish the river as a teenager with my dad 25 years ago (im 49 now) caught nothing but dabs and rockling summer an whiting winter it's amazing how much the river has changed in the last 15 years! I stopped sea fishing 10 years ago and swapped back to course fishing but haven't bothered for 3-4 years so thinking about getting rid of my freshwater gear an having a blast at the river again! 🤔🤔👍🏻

Didn’t really work mate, bit erratic. Slow everything down, get out of the way of the camera that’s looking at the rods, sometimes silence is golden, show us the rigs you’re using and explain why those rigs! Sorry love the Channel just maybe being over critical.
