Our dream is for all students to have caring adults who help them build self-esteem and academic skills that propel them toward academic proficiency and success in careers and life.
This ambitious initiative counts on the recruitment of hundreds of volunteers to reach out to local students. By tutoring at a school, for just 90 minutes a week or more, tutors are exposing students to a world of possibilities. And by volunteering time in the Milwaukee Public Schools, we're letting kids know that they've got a future: for staying in school, for going to college, for having a career, and for having a successful life.

Just through watching the first 39 seconds of this video I have noticed that the teacher has been doing a wonderful job with these kids 👏. Good to go teacher. And if you think that teaching that age group of students is easy, give it try. I'm a teacher myself and I know what I'm talking about.
this is a very nice video. thank you very much for it! I need to home school my preschooler for a little while and this video shows a good way of teaching. thanks again.
This is torture to watch. Has this teacher ever done Dialogic Reading with preschoolers? I don't know what the worst thing is... that the children are BORED to DEATH or that she kept shssh'ing them and not allowing them to be part of the story. It's like a having a class of parrots repeat what you say and do nothing else. No one enjoyed that story including ME! Painful to watch.
I found this video via Pronto learner compendium - there are many good videos there that will help you
She did a fantastic job
Kudos for the Video clip! Excuse me for chiming in, I would appreciate your thoughts. Have you ever tried - Millawdon Future Ticket Trick (probably on Google)? It is a good one of a kind product for teaching children to read without the headache. Ive heard some awesome things about it and my mate after many years got astronomical success with it.
Why there only black kids in the class?
any problem with that?
Maybe the school is in a predominately black neighborhood, but what difference does that make anyway. The main thing is she's doing a good job reading to the children!
